Hmm. It's reasonable, but a bit...lacking. There are actualy a lot of good ideas in here that I like. A lot of the design seems influenced by Super Mario 64, which is no bad thing, but it doesn't quite pull the mechanics off to the same standard. It looks decent enough, but a bit basic, and there's something weirdly off about the platforming - it's oddly difficult to gauge your jumping, particularly when trying to navigate small platforms or land on enemies. It also looks quite shallow in terms of content, but that might be unfair as I'm still only an hour or two into it. I'll stick with it. Feels like an average-but-not-great kind of game so far.
Poi! Now there's a game that's hardly mentioned. Are you playing on Switch, Lotus? Yeah, although I've only played a bit of it, I do like it; it's probably D-tier in terms of graphics (okay but very bland) but I like the controls and gameplay; it's a solid B-tier 3D platformer.
However, I know that our own OrangeRKN is a bit of an admirer of this title - lets invite him in here!

Sounds like I like the platforming a bit more - I never felt it to have any problems in control - but I'd broadly agree. It's definitely in the vein of SM64 with its 3D course design and the visuals are no more than serviceable. I definitely enjoyed it!
I'm playing on PC, jawa. It's growing on me now that I've put more time into it. I still have a couple of gripes with the controls, but I'm adjusting to it. There's actually a lot to do outside the main levels as well, so I was a bit unfair with calling it shallow. It's basic, but there are definitely good ideas, albeit with a few issues here and there. I'm enjoying it

Mario Golf 64
Even though I prefer Everybody's Golf series, it's still great game - just had to get used to how different it feels to other games, especially the wind and putting! But when I nail the birdie it feels good. Wario is kicking my ass though...
Banjo Kazooie
Despite owning it on 360 I actually prefer playing through this on Nintendo 64 for silly reasons, but it's also nice to be able to play it portable. Got 100% on first three worlds, and about to head to swamp.
F-Zero X
I am so gooseberry fool at this game. But, with it being portable its easier to dip in/out. I've got Jack/Queen done on Standard difficulty (after having done all of them on Novice) so need to get gid at King cup on Standard difficulty... last push before harder difficulty.
Some N64 classics there, Seven
F-Zero X is one of my all-time favourites - I've lost track of how many times I've completed it
