Forgotten City - really enjoying it, good story and interesting characters. Clever use of time mechanic which has not been frustrating at all so far.
Lies Beneath - good, linear, horror VR game. The cabin shoot out almost gave another prominent and now-in-VR title featuring a cabin shotot out a run for its money.

Sonic Advance - One of the few GBA games I have left (Christ knows where the rest went), I decided to do what I never managed to when I was young: find and beat all the special stages.

And what God-awful stages they are, too. Every one of them has left me seething, and the last one has got me about ready to put my GBA through a strawberry floating window.

The Evil Within 2

Four hours in and I'm really loving this. Strong combat and a level up system that makes me want to keep playing more and more. The semi-open world is giving me Silent Hill Downpour vibes but the improved combat over that game makes this a much more fun, action packed experience.

Only realised this morning that those little statues contain keys. Took me a while to remember they were the collectibles in the first game. I've found 6 keys so far so I wonder how many others I've looked at and walked straight past.

It's such a good game. I played it about a month ago and loved every minute.

Playing some more now and I can't get enough. Sebastian's comment after completing all the target practice challenges was great :lol:

I finally built up the gumption to re-replay og FF7. And...

I'm about to switch on my PS5 (gasp!) and play a game that isn't Fallout 76 on my PS4 (gaaaasp!)

Pokemon Go with my daughter. I'd never tried it, but she discovered Pokemon through YouTube and probably knows more of their names than me :lol:

Unboxed the Switch and returned to BotW. Finally finished Divine Beast Vah Medoh. The final boss was much easier than the one of Vah Ruta. Just having a bit of an explore now.

Ghost of Tsushima
It has a real sense of time and place and it's insanely pretty and cinematic; I keep stopping to gawk at everything! Enjoying the stories / gameplay, but it feels a little overly handholdy at the moment. Early days yet though, gonna take it slow and immerse myself.

I've been looking at this game and would like to try it out, dmin; mainly because it has great graphics and a super photo mode! I heard that it recently had an easier difficulty level added to it which tempted me to check it out. Gotta wait for a price drop for the PS5 version, though!

Tried GoT on two occasions and as much as I wanted too, because it looks great, I just couldn't get into it

Spoke to my friend today who said the new GR Breakpoint free, 43GB DLC is rather good. Lots of new in-game improvements, (weather and the like) and that it the new missions play like Wildlands as in more of a conquest mode. Anyway, I'll be playing that later tonight with him.
