Back playing Xcom 2 war of the chosen. Absolutely incredible game and insanely addictive. I love it. One of my all time favourite games.

Got it running with some mods for new classes/weapons/enemies and skins and it is just so good.

I still keep going back to Streets of Rage 4 and I still think it's as amazing as when I first played it. I think it's safe to say it will be classed as one of all time favourites as the years go by. Really excited for the DLC.

The Touryst. I like most of this. The platforming bits can die in a fire though.

Bunch of PS1 games, with Croc as one with most playtime right now.

Would love croc remake if not remaster but it'll be very unlikely, which is shame.

Every so often I get the urge to play Croc, and every time I remember about three levels in that I don't actually like Croc all that much. :slol:

I just looked up Argonauts to see if they were still around for a remake (they're not), and apparently they were the ones who developed Star Fox and the SuperFX chip! :o

Yep, apparently they were reverse engineering the Gameboy for some impressive 3D tech demos and rather than sue them, Nintendo asked them to get the SNES running 3D stuff.

Current Nintendo wouldn't do anything like that

Edit: it was the NES, not the GB.

Yeah, they were responsible for the tech and development although it was in conjunction with Nintendo who were behind the game design and characters.

I started Yakuza 0 at the weekend. It's a lot of cutscenes so far.

What's the correct/best order for the series? I'm considering going through them as they're on game pass now. Is it just 0, 1, 2, etc?

I had exactly the same question, looked it up online. 0 seems to be the best place to start. Not sure what the order is after that.

Oblivion
Still working my way through the main quest primarily, and still being plagued by these damn Oblivion Gates. I swear I'm only doing the mandatory ones, but strawberry float me they're tedious. I must be nearing the end of them though. Otherwise I'm doing the odd side quest as well, some of which are good, some of which are a bit dull. Framerate aside it all still holds up really well though.

The Room
I'm enjoying this. Not too much to say other than it's a good puzzler and satisfying to progress through.

Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light
Hmm. I'm a few hours into this. I like the controls, and the emphasis on puzzle-solving. Some really good level design in places too. Once I reached the toxic swamp level though my enjoyment started to wane a bit - just a frustrating mess of a level. Hoping it'll pick up again after that. It's a bit glitchy in places, and I'm not sure I need all of the weapons, artificacts, collectables, and challenges that it throws at you, but I'm largely able to ignore them, so that's fine.

You should do the Dark Brotherhood questline in Oblivion. It is excellent.

Number order is the way to go. 0, Kiwami 1, Kiwami 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, Judgement, Like a Dragon.

3 is pretty rough, but by the time you get to it you'll be invested enough to see it through.

Almost got the platinum on Streets of Rage 4. Only need another 400,000 points for the 5m trophy. Might wait for the DLC though just in case I burn myself out. Although that's probably unlikely.

Fortnite, I originally played it back in 2018 and wasn't that keen but I recently downloaded it and I've been having a blast with it. Driving cars allow you to get round the map much quicker which is great, but the amount of skins is over the top.

Put more time into Yakuza 0 and I'm not really feeling anything from the gameplay so far. But I'm like 2 hours tops into it. I'll give it another few hours and see how it is after.

War of the chosen is incredibly addictive. It is nuts. For a game that generates maps/scenarios/enemies each time and there being a strong similarity to each mission, the base and squad management is brilliant. I can watch football at the same time, between turns. One of the greatest games ever made!

Oh, and i love a mod, for 'A better...' and then some hot chick packs.

Went back to Call Of Duty Classic to properly finish it off. Just finished a mission on Pegasus bridge on veteran.

The 2nd and 3rd games are really good too, haven't played the latest two though (one's VR only and I haven't bought the other yet).

Tried Wolfenstein Youngblood last night and yuck, the co-op just feels tacked on and the game is quite glitchy. I was on the boss fighter and killed him but the dude just stood there and I couldn't be bothered to reload a checkpoint. What a waste of the brilliant Wolfenstein series.
