Made a little progress in God of War 3 remastered on PS4. I defeated Hades and put Helios out of his misery. I really love the sense of scale in this series, especially in this one.

Bought this visual novel in the sale and I'm really enjoying it. I'm a huge fan of The Masquerade universe but unfortunately have only ever had the chance to play two sessions of the tabletop RPG so I'm relishing the chance to exist in this world.

I really like that dealing with your hunger and using your powers has been incorporated into the visual novel format. It's good.

This is really picking up now and I've been faced with some really difficult choices to make. Characters are great and I really feel like a tiny fish in a big pond. I'm sure that, like the Telltale Games, the feeling of freedom is all smoke and mirrors but that thought isn't taking away from the game at all and I'm fully invested in the setting and plot.

I'll definitely be playing it again as the other characters but hopefully I'm still a ways to the end.

Will more than likely pick up the second game after this is done.

I got Tony Hawk's 1 & 2 for Christmas, played a lot of it in a short while but stopped having finished 2 but not quite 1.

Decided to load it up again and have a play. It's great, except Downhill Jam which is such a slog of a level. I never had THPS 1 as a kid, but I remember one of the N64 mags of the time laying into that level, and I really see why. It's so awkward, just no fun at all to play.

Getting stuck back into DMC5SE and that intro never gets old :datass:

Currently getting S ranks in every level of SOS so far so I'm happy with that. Amazing game.

Yeah, I loved GoW3. Can't get into the latest one at all despite owning since launch. Tried a few times but it's never sucked me in. Think it tried to hard to open up and be clever with "boy!". To me its an irritant.

Couldn't tell you how far in I am but I'd be surprised if over 10%. I remember climbing up towards the top of a mountain and seeing some black smoke and having to turn back before eventually doing whatever I needed to do to get through the smoke. Think that's roughly where I got to.

On topic, I'm playing Mafia 1 as part of the remastered Mafia Trilogy set on XSX. Looks gorgeous and a fun game so far.

Also been playing a bit of Dirt 4 ahead of Dirt 5 appearing on GamePass next week. Tried Cyberpunk but hit a glitch which according to Google means I need to reload an earlier save which I didn't want to do right then so I've given up on that again for a few more weeks

Finished this the other week and was indeed by and large excellent. Mafia 2, in comparison, is just tragic - it looks, runs and plays like ass. Hilariously bad writing as well.

Also, is it just me or is the mg metro impossible to drive in the Welsh stages at dusk. I couldn't see a feckin' thing most of the time with no headlights and tinted windows

Wow, was really looking forward to it. Remember playing it on previous gen console and enjoying it. Can’t say I remember the story. But I never really do on (m)any games :lol:

I never use headcam / inside car views so shouldn’t be as much of a problem with the exterior camera. 8-)

A made a little more progress in God or War III today, I killed Hermes and Hercules before saving a princess and using her corpse to jam some gears.

It's what she would have wanted.

Started Sackboy A Big Adventure (PS4) the other night with my partner and a friend over remote play. I have to say I really enjoyed it. The style is just as adorable as ever and the gameplay is pure fun if nothing particularly new. Having never particularly engaged with the making in the originals I like the heavier focus on just playing. I've been more impressed with it that I'd expected and am looking forward to seeing more of what the game has to offer given the variety seen in just the first world or so.

Not sure what prompted me to finally try Infamous: First Light but it's fun so far. The orb collecting is very similar to Crackdown and just as addictive. Feels great getting around the world.

The Last Guardian.

My initial impressions (after about 3 hours) are positive on the whole, though I do now get where the complaints regarding certain camera and movement quirks are getting at. It's a little obtrusive at times but not to the point of becoming frustrating - my relationship with Trico seems unbreakable at the moment. The game also looks fantastic, almost Studio Ghibli-esque when it comes to some of the brightly lit outdoor areas, with the music complimenting that shift from claustrophobic ruins perfectly.

No surprise that it's giving me Shadow of the Colossus vibes too.

Cause I'm still strawberry floating deaf as a post with no end in sight, I have two games on the go at present.

Stardew Valley, I'm moving into Spring Year 2. I've done way more in the first year than my first playthrough, I have reached the bottom of the mine, I have several animals, fruit trees, a greenhouse and a production line for jams. Great game. I'm looking forward to hitting the new content for version 1.5

I've stuck about an hour and a half into The Swapper and I'm impressed by what I've played so far. The core mechanic is fantastic and they've been expanding on it in some nice ways. Still early days with it, but yeah, I hope this stays the same level of quality throughout.

"Why, Chocolate-Milk," I hear you ask, "Did you really build a brand spanking new PC with a 3070 just so you could play decades old games at stupid resolutions?"
