This is the most correct thing anyone's ever said on the forum.

What did you have?

Chicken dopiaza. Being the only good curry house in a small market town in Kent, they can get away with being just fine. Like, the menu is up front and specifically states the pilau as being Tilda Basmati. They know their clientele isn't going anywhere else.

Had a chicken jalali at madras strength, aloo Gobi and garlic naan. Absolutely beautiful. I'm completely stuffed.

I absolutely strawberry floating love curry. Hotter the better (as long as its tastey too though), although we tend to also order a milder dish to go with the hot one to offset it :datass:

I also like to try as many dishes as possible and go for something different each time. We've had nearly everything on the menu at our local curry place, bar the shite like tika Masala and korma, which probably makes the chef want to kill himself every time it's ordered. Having said that, I like half and half chips and rice, fight me.

This was a legendary one:

The plate opposite is my wife's. That's all she ate of that lot, I had the rest, polished the lot off  I had to be rolled in to the taxi after and I spent the rest of the night on the sofa with my belly out, groaning.

Curry

Am I right in saying that the English don't do Pakora at all?

Yeah, I don't really get where that's coming from. I've had pakora in takeouts from Leeds to London.

I heard Iceland were doing a new crazy hot curry with Carolina Reaper chillis. I watched a guy eating one and he got a runny nose and was sweating like strawberry float by the time he was done. Being a fan of hot food I thought I’d try one.

Having seen somebody else’s reaction to it I was kinda scared before I got started but it was fine. It was nice enough but I’ve eaten hotter, I’d even argue Iceland’s own Atomic Vindaloo was hotter than this.
