Is it me or are all these, minus the mantis blades and monowire, incredibly boring?

Doing pretty well at not indulging in any preview content, I’m waiting for the pimp version next year. Might treat myself to one of those lovely joypads.

I'm getting the Xbox version at launch but as it has a free upgrade for series X I may wait until that get's released to play it.
I ordered the base version when it was announced and amazon have upgraded it for free to the steel book they're doing for £48.

Screw being cool, looking like a total idiot is where it's at.

Doesn't look like this is an option. There are overweight characters in the game but the player character is limited to varying muscle tone, which is understandable as from the footage I have seen there are a lot of interactions with the player character model and having make these work with a various different body types would be a pain in the ass. The height difference between male and female v was probably enough of a headache for them.

Yeah. I'm really hoping they're saving the good stuff for either closer in or after release as...those are just normal RPG upgrades. All of them.

The cyberware is definitely more interesting than the perks. I'm surprised there isn't really anything to do with hacking there. They are all combat focused too, which just further makes it look like the non-lethal stealth or dialogue options in this won't be up to much.

The 5% reduction in fall damage sounds laughable, surely that has to be a mistake in transcription? 50% would make a lot more sense if it is supposed to impact the player's approach.

One thing that came from the previews was that the upgrade tree was considerable. I imagine this is the first perk of a series.

From the cyberware list it also looks like they've gotten rid of the inhaler system as shown in the 2018 footage as Kereznikov is now a perk.

Front cover of this month's EDGE, out now.

In person, it's very Metal Gear Solid with a reflective silver cover.

Dual-wielding dudebro was the best they could come up with?

A new screenshot of the Kabuki district. Apparently the Glowing Hologram is for Fast Travel.
