Cyberpunk 2077 is a role-playing video game announced in 2012, based on the Cyberpunk series of pen-and-paper games. The game is being produced by CD Projekt RED, developers of The Witcher and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. Cyberpunk will feature a decadent futuristic world in which ultra-modern technology co-exists with a degenerated human society. The game aims to be a mature, ambitious title with character customization being strongly tied to the plot. It will have a non-linear story with different character classes.

Pretty much my dream game, but I don't want to get too excited. CD Projekt have a good track record, so I remain optimistic. Could be brilliant.

I like this very much.

The oppressed are allowed once every few years to decide which particular representatives of the oppressing class are to represent and repress them in parliament.

She also has robotic legs by the look of it.

Regardless, I just jizzed myself reading the OP, so I'll keep an eye on this.

I can't take a "mature" game descriptor seriously where female poster characters all have DD breasts.

While CDproject have made some fantastic RPG's, it has to be said that their attitude to women in their games has been less than progressive. Still, the Witcher 2 was the only recent RPG where I felt like my choices actually had meaningfull consequences and weren't simple black and white choices between the "good" path and "evil" path. No matter what choice you made you were screwing somebody over. Applying that sense of moral ambiguity to a cyberpunk setting could be very interesting indeed.

I have no doubt based on the premise of the Witcher games that they will be narratively interesting, which might be considered "mature"; it's a shame that the same sort of thing seems to require pegging up with tits & gore so it's like graphic novels Vs comics with all the same tropes & clichés for teenage boys / man children.

It doesn't actually bother me that much but for some reason I've started taking more notice of massive tits in games. Possibly because I'm not currently acquainted with huge, albeit perky lovely little ones. :shifty:

Either that or I have girly hands.

A bit of a talky video about the game.

This sounds like my ideal game, hopefully it can make me feel like I'm living Blade Runner. Just finished reading Neuromancer as well so I just want to get jacked in pronto!

Anyway, there's a trailer for this coming out next week apparently. I'm guessing there won't be any gameplay, but still, should be interesting. This is pretty much the only game I'm actively interested in at the moment.

Amazing they spoke for so long in that video and manage to say almost nothing. I don't even know whether it is first person or not.

Hope it's a proper trailer and not just some CGI teaser.

If the CGI is as good as the Witcher 2 intro, then I'm hoping for a CGI trailer. :shifty:
