:shifty:

It's very clever as I left the phantom liberty mission I was doing to go back to the apartment, and you have unique and relevant voiced dialogue to tell her about the mission you've just done.

After about 85 hours just got the Kerry missions to go and then I've wrapped everything up with just Act 3 to go. I think there's a few more hidden side missions I haven't done from a quick Google but they don't really look that substantial so I'm gonna finish off the Kerry line then crack on with the ending.

Really enjoyed the Judy and River missions. It's quite nice how they play out from a friendship point of you although it's extremely obvious where the ROMANCING would have begun if I'd been the right gender :slol:

I've not even met Kerry or River, there must be loads I've not done side mission wise then. Which is nice to know so I've still got a good chunk to play.

There was a point late on where you could have one final try of your luck with Judy as a male V, and she just threw this furious look and said "don't even go there :| "

Still can't decide whether to be male or female for my third character. I think female V is better but maybe might want to be a dude again.

If you're on PC- female V with the date Panam mod.

I haven't dated Judy yet though.

My first play through was as female V, second play-through/Phantom liberty will most likely be as male V just so I experience both. No idea how well the male VA does, but the female VA was fantastic.

I think the male V is decent but I've heard the female is better. It's part of my motivation to do a second play through, which I've decided I'm going to do later in the year. Female V, different prologue + Phantom Liberty should make it suitably different. Haven't decided which build yet although I suspect I won't 100% it but rather mainline it.

My first play through was basically mainline, hoping whenever I do get around to playing it again (I'd like to at least make a start this year) I'll do a lot more of the side content.

Female V is definitely a much better VA. I'll be going Corpo with a focus on hacking for my third playthrough as I've already been "Nomad with guns" and "Sneaky Streetkid with a knife"

And finished. Pretty much everything done but the final couple of Kerry. Wasn't a huge fan of the character so didn't really have the desire to see that one through and just wanted to crack on with the ending.

Re: the ending

Went for the Panam route. Made the most sense to me and the "driving into the sunset" ending was a very satisfying resolution, even if V currently has 6 months to live. The stuff with the aldecaldos was really good and felt a really good fit for V's story. Even if I did feel a bit guilty about the collateral damage. Also, it's debateable whether the "real" V actually returns to his body given it his a copy of his pysche taken by Alt mapped to his brain....but I prefer not to think of that. Really liked the voicemail bit in the credits, except my old mate Takemura who told me to rot in hell with the implication that he was about to commit seppuku :dread: I guess it makes sense given what V's actions do to Arasoka but still, quite upsetting after I really enjoyed his relationship with V..

Would quite like to give the other endings a go, especially the one where you hand over control to Johnny. Maybe when I return to the game down the line to try Phantom Liberty.

Overall, an absolutely phenomenal game, certainly 1 of my favourites of recent years, if not ever.

Not played this for a fair while, so had a nice session earlier. They're just flat out showing off with some of the areas in dogtown

Don’t fear the reaper is awesome. But is now very difficult.

I was a huge fan of the PL endings and agree yours feels the best fit. Was the one I liked.

Honestly brilliant game. Can’t wait for a sequel.

I tried Cyberpunk during the recent free trial. The game always interested me, but the botched launch put me off. So far, I'm loving it & picked up the game with addon which is currently on sale. In fact, it's actually the first PS5 game which I've purchased, with PS Plus and my back catalogue having kept me entertained to date.

It feels like a blend of two games which I have loved, GTA & Deus Ex. The moment which sold it to me was pressing the wrong button on the trial and accidentally chucking a grenade. From there, I went from shoot out, to car chase, to hiding in a building, only to end up picking a lock and exploring what turned out to be a club. Very much love the style of the game and looking forward to playing it further.

The silly neighbourhood vegetable.
