I know the concept has been done a lot but I got major Strange Days vibes from the Braindance stuff, especially using a robbery as an example. I really hope there's some degree of agency required during those parts with missable information etc. As much as I love Witcher 3, the senses mode during investigations was very much a case of 'click the glowy bits'.

It's funny but I also remembered Strange Days especially when the developers referenced being able to use the mode for sexual entertainment... In the movie there was a scene of a guy living the memory of a lesbian sex encounter. The original RPG of course would have been influenced by Blade Runner movie but also the Blade Runner PC game allowed you to zoom into photos to find extra details. I had the original for so long and sold it on eBay at the end of last year.

Watched the new trailer but decided against watching any new gameplay, I know I'm getting this so want to keep it all fresh!

Knoyleo wrote:Looks incredible, but I'm still not convinced that it actually looks that exciting in terms of gameplay. When they showed a bit of, and talked about, the badlands, it just reminded me of the boring as strawberry float desert in GTA V.

The brain dance (or whatever its called) sections look like they could go either way. Could be a really in depth investigation mode, or it could just be another scan-everything-until-you-find-the-answer time waster.

Yeah, I think it's the deliberately slow character and camera movement for the demos to look more cinematic and grounded in reality that's putting me off. It's the kind of thing that works incredibly well in walking simulators but it makes the combat in this look way too "heavy".

I'm really starting to get interested in this game now. I'm not the biggest fan of first person games, but i had a really good experience with Metro Exodus and the feeling of isolation and immersion that i feel you only really get with that perspective (quadruple this for VR). I think that come November i will absolutely be ready for this one.

I really hope the Brain Dance sections work well, they could be a lot of fun.

Someone has taken the map that was released a few months and re-made it as a google map style image (Spoilers here, obviously)

Image

Then, someone else on Reddit has managed to map out the route of a certain part of the footage from last night.
https://old.reddit.com/r/cyberpunkgame/ ... _gameplay/

Look how much detail is crammed into that - pretty small - section of map compared to the scale of the whole city.
Then there's an unknown amount of verticality to take into consideration as well, we don't know how far up we can explore yet.

I'm stuck on the Hype train. I can't get off :/

Another thing I've noticed as well is that the Voice Actor does a different interpretation of the voice for V too.
So in the Nomad clip, he's a lot more gruff and growly (Actually sounds like Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop!).. and the Corpo V sounds cocky, arrogant and prickish.

Very cool.

Looking great, seems like it'll live up to the hype.

Do you opt for a style when you start the game? Or can you chop and change as you go? Just not sure with seeing ‘Corporate V’ is all.

You get to choose one of the three on start-up. It sounds like it's like Dragon Age: Origins in that it completely changes the first few hours but after that mainly influences dialogue choices and the way some characters react to you (it also changes the way you meet Jackie). Definitely going for a female Corpo I think, play up the bad guy angle.

One thing we haven't seen any of so far, and something I imagine's going to have a huge impact on the map, is the verticality. Everything we've seen, minus V's apartment in the 2019 trailer, has been on the ground floor.

I'm absolutely going to play this as the dirtiest strawberry floating scumbag I can be, it just feels thematically appropriate. If people haven't come off worse from interacting with me then I'm not doing my job right!

I know it's massively wishful thinking but part of me is really hoping for some major changes and branching being possible in this based on who you area and how you tackle things. I can't see them giving us something like Witcher 2's very differing second acts based on player choice but it would be great if actions resulted in more than just token dialogue changes where possible

Well it sounds like there is a stealth type one so that’ll be my choice!

Choose from 5 different pubic hair styles:

CyberMerkin 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 appears to have fairly strong character customization choices, to the purpose you possibly can select how your character’s pubic hair seems.
In May, CD Projekt said that the Cyberpunk 2077 character customization system is so in-depth, you can even customize your junk, with “various sizes and combinations of genitals.”

One Chinese streamer who got to play the four hours Tweeted that he made a female V with an enormous penis  CyberFuta 2077 :slol: :toot:

( :datass: )
