Pretty sure I called it "stranding" so don't lump me in with the others! :capnscotty:

It's called Dead Stranding (with an 'r'), I think is their point.

Edit, far too slow

I nearly resulted to a google search of the box art at this response. Gaming is the one thing i have a modicum of confidence discussing. Don't make me question that too....

I completed all the Delamain missions last night.
The chance of pace was initially quite interesting, but after a few it was a bit gooseberry fool.

And including GLaDOS as one of the cars completely pulled me out of sorts and all I could think of was "oh wow, they're trying to be quirky" and the little fight at the end of her trap kept glitching for me, so that wasn't fun.

Just try and laugh off the bugs instead of let them annoy you.

...it's easier that way :simper:

Anyone playing this on PS5, what the general state of it these days? I bought it on release and have been holding off playing it, in the hope it will get a number of robust updates.

So that big patch?

https://www.cyberpunk.net/en/news/37768 ... nt-insight

Delays the police response (read: does not stop them appearing from nowhere) and fixes the broken steering.

That's pretty much it.

Not even a fix for the strawberry floating ludicrous mini map?!

Mini-Map: "Ok bro, just keep Pegging it in a straight line. You got this"

Me: "Awesome, thanks Mini-Map!"

Mini-Map: "OH strawberry float DUDE, TURN RIGHT strawberry floating NOW!
ARGHH gooseberry fool ME, YOU MISSED IT!
"

Oh yeah the map is insanely awful.

How a game where everyone literally has robot magic eyes doesn't bother to implement directional indicators overlayed on the characters view is genuinely beyond me.

"When experiencing lower frame-rates, our cars were harder to control. We traced this to some code that wasn't handling extreme changes in frame rate properly. The steering speed is now very consistent from 20 to 60+ FPS."

very consistent

20 to 60+ fps

lmao

"It should be common sense to just accept the message Nintendo are sending out through their actions."

It's just saying that the vehicle steering speed is consistent at any framerate of at least 20 fps, not in any way saying or implying that a framerate of 20-60 is consistent.
Now if you'll excuse me I gotta go wash my hands after typing out a defense for anything to do with this game.
