Some small funny bugs like a car driving around on its own,

Thats not a bug. The future will have self automated cars.

The automated "being my vehicle to me" feature is great... Until the vehicle decides it doesn't want to wait for you!

That clip is extremely funny. It also reminded me of another badly thought out part of the game: the licenced soundtrack. So many of the tracks are, for want of a better word, annoying and hearing one of two of them playing in the open world completely ruins the atmosphere. I'm talking about the one in the clip specifically ("I'll strawberry float you I'll strawberry float you I'll strawberry float you I strawberry float" one) which was strawberry floating everywhere in my playthrough.

CDPR announces plan to reorganize and work on multiple AAA franchises at once.

Stock plummets as investors freak out.

Hum.

I mean they failed to deliver on a single AAA product so I'm not sure juggling multiple ones is going to help the situation

I don't think the fallout of exactly how badly they strawberry floated up the CP launch will truly be felt for a few years.

It may have been extremely profitable in the short term, but investor confidence in the company's leadership is just...gone. As it should be.

The real cash cow would have been if they'd managed to make Futuristic GTA Online. That's not happening now.

This is what the investment was riding on - a long form cash cow that could be milked for the next decade. And yeah short of some Lazarus style coming back from the dead I can't see that happening now!

Which is why it was so short sighted to rush it out.

Considering the ceiling on the earning potential it must be one of the most monumental game releases strawberry float ups ever or at least in recent years.

Played a bit more now (Done the Johnny bit) and I am actually really enjoying this. Maybe my expectations were so low and I laugh at the fact that every time I kill someone they die, get up again and die again that I just become oblivious to it.

Fired up it up to see the 1.2 changes

...and they still haven't sorted the Mini-Map.
Junctions still creep up on you out of nowhere and handbrake turns are still the order of the day.
How hard can it be to follow the GTA formula of "the faster the driving speed, the more the map is zoomed out".

And the cars still drive like gooseberry fool.

I'm not surprised. The vast majority of coverage it got a launch focused (rightfully so) on the state of the game and just how big a mess CDPR made of it. I think it was hard to discern that underneath the many, many issues there is a good game to be found.

The real tragedy of this game is in just how much wasted potential there was. This could easily have been a something utterly amazing. Now it's just a tainted 6-7/10 at best.

Didn't CDPR just buy another studio? Maybe that's their plan for working on multiple AAA games at once rather than everything being done by one single studio.

It definitely had huge potential and when it's not throwing bugs at you and you're in the middle of a well put together quest you can get a feel for how special it really could have been.

Sandra mission. Still not fixed.

Think I'm just going to gloss over until all the dlc is out.

Was ruined slightly by my throught process of "man another bug caused by the shoddy AI in this Ga... Oh that was supposed to happen"
