I'd say about 40~ish hours, give or take. The School Mode takes while and if you save up coins instead of spending them, you should meet that mark or less but if you didn't save up you may have to add few more hours to that.

Heard Danganronpa 2's might take longer than this one.

Danganronpa 2 will definitely take longer, I'm fairly sure there's a trophy for getting all 100+ random equipment drops in the Monomi minigame

Yeah I saw that. Ugh. I'll still do it of course, but I'm not going to stress myself. Just play it for few hours at time or something.

As much as I enjoyed DR2, I can't be bothered to grind it for PSN trophies, that Monomi mini game is one of the worst things I've ever played.

So after buying this when it was in the sale I have *finally* managed to get in to it.

I am *so* glad the "assistant" was the first one to die, because chances were I would have smashed my Vita to smithereens if I had to listen to their gooseberry fool any more.

Also I just burst out laughing in the first trial...

Author student: I think blah blah blah.

Protagonist: I think you're wrong!

Author student: Huh, why, is it because you think I'm ugly?

I wonder how much better a Zero Escape with a school would sell in Japan compared to the previous two games...

Danganronpa: Another Episode has been doing well in Japan, selling over 70,000 copies in its first week and closing in on 100,000 units sold, so odds are we'll see that over here. Bodes well for DR3 at some point in the future too.

Still no news of Zero Escape 3, but you never know if these type of games continue to have commercial success.



I also had a little smile when I looked at the console sales, with the 360 selling 80 units.

Still haven't finished this (latest trial told me I'm half way through, though) but am now *totally* hooked on the story. So much so that the other day I completed two chapters in one day.

My biggest gripe about this remains the gameplay mechanics used in the trials. In the second or third trial I found that the interface caused me more issues than trying to figure out who the killer was.

Anyway! On with the 4th trial.

Could someone who has played and finished this answer the following question, please.

Is there a Battle Royale situation going on? Something like... some kids strawberry floated up and society has decided to punish them and turn it into entertaiment. Something long those lines?

Enjoyed it all bar the reveal of Ultimate Despair and the mechanics of the trials.

Will definitely pick the second one up when it hits the sales.

Glad I didn't answer that then, as I thought you were playing the second game and would most likely have spoiled the ending of the first.

Just started the first game. Not sure what to make of it so far but only on chapter one so I wont judge it just yet

If only I didn't know the outcome before going into the court room. Hope the next one is more difficult.

Yeah, the first case is pretty obvious as it's an extended tutorial, the later ones get a lot more complex.

Enjoying it so far especially the courtroom battles. Not so keen on moving around.

Story is pretty cool too
