Cheers. The way it works in DS1 and BB is stoopid.

The Watching Artist wrote:Right I think I'm finally nearing the end of this stupid game. I've just beaten the ancient dragon and started traveling back in time. So I want to know about the DLC. I've found a snow area which I've not explored yet. Dunno if that is part of it. Also do I need to do it before the end of the main game like DS and BB?

I only played the one in the Sunken City. It was better than anything in the main game.

The DLC in Dark Souls 2 is excellent with the exception of the Iron Passage, which is the worst part of any Dark Souls game ever.

I didn't realise that was DLC, I've been there.

Yeah it's part of the Old Iron King DLC, or included in the Scholar Of The First Sin edition of the game. It's a shame because that DLC is otherwise amazing, and has two of the best bosses in the game.

I have four of them now so I think so. I tried a few times with just one. I've fought the actual boss 3 or 4 times by now but it takes me sometime to get back to it because of the stupid fight before it. I would have beaten him about 10 times over by now if not for that. I liked this bit. The area was really good, apart from a few bits where the enemy placement was dicks on a stick and the boss fight with the snow tiger, whilst cool, was a bit janky tbh. With me getting stuck under it. I really like the idea of the fight with the knights but I shouldn't have to do it again and again. And its a mess. Get shafted up the arse whenever I have to dodge anything because some twat has fire magic crap. Go strawberry float yourself infinite spawning fire dicks.

The actual boss seems fairly straight forward compared to the mess before hand. Heck one time they hadn't even frozen all the gates before he turned up so I was having to fight off spawning gooseberry fools as well. A shame.

The elation I felt when I finally killed that trio boss fight in the DLC was immense. Don't think I ever did manage to get through the Iron Passage though.

Yes. You just managed to split them up and cheese the pathfinding, I didn't see any game breaking stuff.

I think the "break" bit was when one of the enemies got stuck in a "move cautiously in a semi-circle" line of movement. It was as if he couldn't do anything else but move left/right... quite odd  .
