jawa, try taking off your armour piece by piece and rolling/running about in between each piece taken off.
youll be surprised by the difference equipment weight makes to your characters agility.

Theres a ring you can get soon Jawa that can help with that. But I don't think you are there yet.

Other than that if you put some stats into endurance (I think) it will increase your equip load.

I’d say until you have high enough stamina stick with a low equipment load. The Ninja Garb is a good shout if memory serves... assuming you’ve made it far enough to find it.

Finally worked out how to upgrade my Estus flask, that's some bollocks right there. What's the point of Reverse hollowing at the fire if it doesn't do anything?
Accidentally appear to have pissed off the dude at the Firelink shrine and now he permanently wants to kill me, so that's nice. Got to the next boss as well but died

Reverse hollowing allows you to summon help as well as leaving you open to invasion so it's a bit of dual edged sword.

Have you rung the first bell yet?

If so there's a guy just before it that will "Forgive your sins" and stop the NPC attacking you. For a price of course.

I assumed he means the guy sitting by the bonfire. But yeah that other guy should be killed quickly.

I meant the guy by the bonfire too. If you talk to him enough throughout the game he eventually starts talking weirdly (well more weirdly) and becomes hostile, he attacks you on the way in to New Londo if memory serves

Yeah I could never work out why that guy suddenly turned on me but he went down easily enough (kenneth.jpg)

I think you get a reasonable number of souls for dealing with him as well?

Ah... Got that mixed up with the guy by the firekeeper. Been ages since I last played it properly.

Just enjoyed a cracking session; got a bit further into the game, duffed up a couple of knights and got a Talisman :toot: . It was fun... painful, but fun  . Thank you to the guys who joined and provided guidance  .

Just killed the demon by the blacksmith and then proceeded to walk of a cliff in the garden I found :fp:

Started a proper runthrough last night. Doing a Dex+Int build. Took Thief for the Master Key, and the Old Witch's Ring as my gift (Quelaag's sister mai waifu). Nipped down to New Londo to get the Estoc, then hopped through the Valley of the Drakes and down into Blighttown by the back entrance to get the Crimson Set and the Tin Banishment Catalyst. That's my weapon & armour sorted for the first half of the game. I love Dark Souls sequence breaking.

Need to farm some souls to get Soul Arrow from Rickert of Vinheim, then I can start actually playing the game.

In my last playthrough I suicided into the Valley of the Drakes because I wanted the Grass Crest Shield and Astora's Straight Sword, but I'm not bothered about getting them early this time through -- they're not helpful for this style of play anyway.

We're in the same location at the mo', Hypes! I saw that demon but he looked super-tough (double fire balls :o ) and so I went the other way instead; up into the courtyard and castle to face various knights.

Karl, I hadn't realised that you were so into Souls! You have detailed knowledge of the game... it must be quite an experience for you to have made multiple runs.

It's great that a few of us are now tackling the game at the same time. Our journeys can be shared :toot: .

Just had a quick look at a speedrun for this.

I've not watched much buthe completes it in just over half an hour, with a character that's just in his pants.

Yes, I'm not quite sure how you got there though, as I came from that castle with various knights that you got to. Also visited the humming onion but he didn't do anything so I left
