Don't start again. You got one relatively early on that you must have used correctly somehow because you had 10 Estus flasks. I must have consumed one early on as I only just got to 10

That isn't what they do. Kindling bonfires gives you extra Estus. The Firelink Shrine bonfire starts kindled. Firekeeper Souls increase the HP healed per drink.

You get 10 uses from resting at the bonfire at Firelink or any one you've kindled (offering one humanity to a bonfire when in human form). Jawa is on about a Fire Keeper's Soul that increases the amount of health that's refilled with each use. You'll know you've used one (by offering it to the woman down the stairs at Firelink) because it adds +1, +2, whatever next to the icon on the HUD depending how many Fire Keeper's Souls you've given her.

I loaded this up on my old 360 to see how my character ended up, starting a new game plus

Just got to the bell gargoyles. It controls really clunky compared to dark souls 3, does anyone know if the remaster addresses this?

Sorry, Matt, I wasn't. I hope to be back late this afternoon; I'll try and post in advance of streaming. Nothing like Souls to kick-start the week!

Oh, and yeah... I will be continuing rather than re-starting. The journey must be made with the hand that is dealt :toot: .

Ah ok, well good to know I didn't accidentally use one

Not so much the hand that was dealt, but the hand that was chosen when warned about

...you guys!

I unwittingly used it without realising what the consequences were! I'm learning that Dark Souls doesn't tell you *anything* about what to do.. it's a harsh master.

Anyhow, I hope to stream later today and I'm looking at a start time of about 16:00 (UK). Back to the pain!

I didn't believe you 'cos earlier you told me to run into the graveyard :slol: .

However, the evidence is clear - Kriken was to blame. He was reckless and irresponsible! :x . I forgive him 'cos he does cool streams, though.

Still planning to stream later; probs about 16:10.

Well it is designed to be played through multiple times. Some of the questlines are quite hard to follow unless you know what you're doing.

Saying that, you should get in to the habit of reading item descriptions. A lot of the times they go someway to helping you figure out what it's for.
