It's bloody tough, but really good and immensely satisfying (context thread).

Dress up is ugly though. There are no pretty sorcery sets in DS1 :(

No way, Dusk's dress is gorgeous. The tulle, the embroidery, her broach, those gemstones. I admit the crown isn't a versatile accessory but it works with the rest of her look. I think her braids really help her pull it off.

Dark Souls dress up!

Other than on a couple of occasions where I needed to mix it up a bit outfit wise (high curse resistance gear to fight Seath being the most recent example) I think I'm still wearing the same gear I started the game with!

Well yeah, it looks ridiculous with that hair. It's OK sweetie, not everyone can pull off every dress.

We've all been there!

Games where changing outfits/equipment doesn't actually result in any visual changes to your character in-game should be banned in my opinion!

I do plan to move on to DS2, although I haven't actually bought it yet. It would be nice if they brought 2 to Switch as well because I've enjoyed the freedom of playing this whenever/wherever.

My understanding is that 1 is the best, 2 is a bit crap and 3 (which I have played a considerable chunk of) is a return to form but not as good as 1?

If I can grab 2 in a sale then I'll probably move onto it when I'm done with 1 - otherwise I may start a new go at . I've got 3 on PC so would probably look at streaming it as well. :toot:

I've bounced off DS2 so many times. Same with DeS and BB. DS3 I got a significant chunk of the way into (I got to some Prison with guys who can half your health temporarily) but got pulled away from it.

I've got both versions of DSII though, so I do plan on sticking with it at some point. Or I'll just re-start DSIII, which was damn good.
