I'm ok with that. I'll always have the knowledge that he thinks Sonic 06 looks good.

Got Kalameet down to under half health a couple of times but he's certainly a bit of a handful that's for sure!

im sure i had more trouble with Manus but theres not much between them. most people seem to say Kalameet is the hardest DS1 boss so good luck!

For a lot of the time he seems easy enough, but then he can suddenly bust out a move that just wipes you out. Last go at him I lingered too long underneath and he basically did a belly flop that took 80% of my health!

It's weird because I barely remember fighting Kalameet. So I just looked up my old vids and from what I can work out I beat him on my second go. 8-) (ignoring the before the bow part). It looks like my main tactic was to just stand underneath him and stab away as his AI worked out what was going on.

I'm sure Jenny will boss him in no time.

Good going, TLG!

... :o . I've only battled Butterfly twice - earlier in my journey - but I bascially ran away 'cos it was too tough at the time. The window of opportunity for swiping the beast seemed to be really small. I guess I'll have to revist at some point!

Can you get the butterfly with a sword then?

The butterfly lands to feed on the glowing moss on the bridge occasionally.

Timing the rolls to avoid the attacks from the butterfly was the part that took me a few goes to get right.

Here's hoping. I'm using the fact that I was playing it handheld whilst the wife was watching Love Island as the reason I wasn't able to properly focus and beat him last night!

I plan on continuing my Souls journey from 16:00 today. Exploring Anor Londo should be a terrific way to welcome in the weekend! I'll post a stream link as I go live.

The game occasionally wigs out and it never comes into range at least it used to, I haven't played in ages and that problem might have been fixed by now.

Yeah this was the biggest problem. Even when I thought I'd timed it right I still got hit. It was the fast bursts and the occasional overhead strafe that caused most problems.

I'm going to get back to my friend The Capra demon over the weekend, but for now instead of playing it myself I'm off to watch Jawa :D

I very nearly quit at that part, i think it took me something like 27 attempts, and its such a long slog each time as its just before the next bonfire.
