I'd go as far as saying post-Anor Londo dips far below good in some places. Izalith is bad and Tomb of the Giants isn't all that much better. The Duke's Archives are at least alright, and depending on how you want to cut it the Painted World is great, though that could be counted as either pre- or post-Lord Vessel, I guess.

I don't think the game is ever worse than 'good'. Those later levels pale in comparison to what comes before, but it's still a joy to play.

You should definitely do the Painted World the first time you see that room. Makes it more of a challenge, and means you'll remember it as part of game's overall Anor Londo peak, which it is.

Izalith is fine. I could understand if people don't like it because they don't have that fire resistance ring or don't enter via the other route. Tomb of the Giants loses some of its fun after the first playthrough once you realise how small the area actually is and how quickly you can get through it now.

I like Izalith. I'm a bit neutral on Tomb of Giants if only because those giant skeletons are so incredibly janky :slol: but it's a cool concept.

I strawberry floating hate their weird attack patterns. Almost as annoying as the dogs in Sekiro whose AI is programmed to only attack you when you attack them.

I hate those beast skeletons, them and the stone dudes in the DLC are perhaps the most OP regular enemies in the game.

Dark Souls was one of the times where I wished the Switch allowed for capture of more than 30 seconds!

I don't remember having any trouble with Kalameet. Manus was tough but doable.

Literally just run and charge at the one on the right.

Yeah run with confidence and you'll be fine! Just be careful how you take down the guy on the right, not exactly a lot of room to manoeuvre!

I didn't really struggle that hard with Artorias or Manus. They are brilliant boss fights however, especially Artorias.

Never tried Kalameet though.
