I'm up to Anal Rodeo now on NG+

Here are my current stats

Level 104
Vit 35
Att 14
End 40
Str 40
Dex 8
Faith 30

I thought sunlight spear had a lower faith requirement but its 50! I'm not going to bother with that now

Ng+ is great fun just wrecking everything

I've dropped Mace now in favour of serpent great sword 15

Sunlight Blade is ridiculous in the early game just lol @ every boss before anor londo with a lightning weakness just lol

I used an Axe and Spear combo that I picked up early doors for pretty much the whole run when I first played this. I really need to find the time to go back and try out some other options!

Should I stop at 40 on vitality?

Yes.

Spending points on Vitality is still useful for a degree beyond 40, but the amount of additional HP you gain does start to drop off as you get into the mid 40's.

But it's the same with other stats as well - Endurance stops giving you extra Stamina after around 40 I think?

I'd maybe go for more attunement slots and buy doubles of powerful spells so you have more casts. What's your faith at?

Faith is 30. I didn't known you could double up on miracles.

You can do it with spells and it makes you comically overpowered so it should work with miracles as well.

Have decided to swap my Zweihander for a Claymore and do a bit more rolling around

Wow we are at the same point but I'm in ng+ I've not attempted them yet.

I don't know what Ng+ is. If you're level 104 you're a lot higher than me :lol:

When you finish the game you start all over again with the same weapons and stats but enemies are tougher.

If you're interested I did the last boss at around level 90.

My setup for most of the game was lightning Zweihander and Black Knight's Sword. BKS was better for S&O than the Zwei due to speed.

Speed, timing and movement are the key to the game in general in my opinion. If you can learn to manage your movement correctly and learn to time when to dodge/block/parry/heal correctly then it generally doesn't matter what weapons or gear you are using.
