Speed, timing and movement are the key to the game in general in my opinion. If you can learn to manage your movement correctly and learn to time when to dodge/block/parry/heal correctly then it generally doesn't matter what weapons or gear you are using.

10.39 for Horizon Complete and 12.99 for GoW.

Ornstein and Smough is tough on NG+! First difficulty spike I've encountered. First phase is very straightforward but the 2nd phase is where I keep getting killed. Solaire is useless.

It definitely isn't for O&S, solo is the way to go.

Unless you want to roleplay taking them down with your sunbro best bud :wub:

Solaire's main use in the O&S battle is to distract one while you kill the other.

Surprised that people are still playing this on Switch, but earlier I was summoned for the Gargoyles pretty much instantly on a SL15 character I was messing around with.

I'm trying a Faith build this time. I've got a 2H Fire Zweihander going, and Lightning Spear is very good too. It's always very satisfying how much that combo wrecks early enemies! Quelaag next though so I'll need to switch out the sword to a (hopefully) +10 Claymore.

My goal is to try to get Sunlight Blade to buff an (eventually) +15 Claymore as soon as possible - but I've never actually fought that optional boss before so that should be exciting!

I reckon I can hit everything I need stats-wise by about SL30ish, so I'll be trying to stay around there for the whole game, as a bit of a challenge.

I haven't played it for a while, left it at Lanky and Podge

That fight is really good though! Hope you get your mojo back.
