Jawa, if you're reading this, there's really nothing to leave over. You can't get on with everyone all the time, but the community obviously does like you, and it's clear you have a lot of fun with us, so I wish you'd have more confidence in that and just let the occasional frustrating bits go.

Went back to Darkroot Basin and beat the Hydra last night, then the bloody game froze on me!

Going to head back there and explore the water area a bit more, I assumed it was a dead end when the Hydra was there but it looks like there may be more to it.

So went past the Hydra and there was another Crystal enemy there, but when I killed it

Not sure what that was all about but there didn't seem to be anything else back there so I'm going to head back to a couple of other areas that I don't think I've fully explored. I think there were some of the lower areas of Sen's Fortress that I could go back to.

It's to do with The DLC. GOSH PAY MORE ATTENTION. I'm fairyl sure she tells you where she's going too

But the dialogue is just such cod medieval nonsense that it's hard to pay attention at times - it's almost as bad as the tripe that I wrote in the Warlords thread! :lol:

From what I recall she basically said something about being from a long time in the past and that she might come back when she was needed? I think she mentions the name of the place/people she has come from possibly?

I might look up her dialogue just in case I did miss something key!

Oi! I'm playing this my own way.

Also Solaire attacked me so he had it coming!

I'm fairly certain I said yes to her - she mentioned her sign which I assume was reference to being able to summon her again?

Phew. Yes, summon her again now if you are a sorcerer, otherwise you can wait 'til a bit later.

She has the best sorcery stuff (some people would come pretty much straight here from the start before doing bosses)

Dress up is ugly though. There are no pretty sorcery sets in DS1

I put in a little more time over the weekend myself.

Beasted O&S, poked my head into the Great Hollow to kill some Crystal Lizards and get the Twinkling Titanite I needed to get my BKS to +5, then headed back to Darkroot where I took down the Hydra and got chatty with Dusk.

Plan is to clear out Darkroot of gear and items, twat the Moonlight Butterfly and then put Sif down.

EDIT: When is a good time to do the DLC? I was planning on getting the four lord souls first then doing the DLC before the end? I never did it on my first play through you see.

Kalameet was the hardest boss in the game for me, with manus a close second. Made O&S look like a joke.
