Blighttown via the Depths is bad. The much shorter Blighttown you see if you go via the Valley of Drakes is OK.

I love Blighttown. It's awesome.

Yeah Blighttown is definitely not the worst area for me. I don't actually think there are any areas of the game that are genuinely bad, some are definitely better than others but they're all fun

Oh no I agree with that, bad is a strong term that doesn't really apply to Dark Souls. For instance I really quite like Lost Izalith even though it's "bad" compared to Anor Londo or whatever!

I can't say I really enjoy Lost Izalith, the Crystal Cave or The Tomb of the Giants.

I had forgotten how much the second half of the game drags. Think it's because the areas don't feel connected to the early game maybe.

The colour of the lava in Lost Izalith is assaulting my eye balls. Terrible design choice.

I got really stuck on Demon Firesage :lol:

literally the hardest boss I've fought so far took me 5 or 6 attempts. Had to wear Havel set and tank him into a corner so he would get stuck cycling his butt drop move to beat him. :fp:

I've never managed to save Solaire so I'm determined to do that this time.

Also popped into New Londo to get the big Ember so now my mace is +14. Had a crack at 4 Kings but got stuck even with witch wifey.

Solaire is a prick, anyone who comes at me like that is getting put down!

I quite like the Bed of Chaos, even if the hit boxes are pure bullshit on its attacks most of the time

Bed of Chaos is easy when you realise you can just quit out after you destroy each thing at either side rather than running back and trying to avoid the mother of all hitboxes.
