The fuss is about him trying to show us all he's really Average Joe Bloggs who understands us and our real world problems when a: he clearly isn't/doesn't, and b: he can easily afford to jet off and have luxury cruises in his yachts with all his rich pals/family members, but never invites the cameras along there like he does when he does his Average Joe publicity gooseberry fool. He's a closet rich man, trying to get elected for being someone/something he plainly isn't, and I find that really... insidious.

He's rich....and he's having a holiday, seriously wtf did you expect? You seem to conveniently forget that many other politicians do exactly the same (see Tony Blair staying at Cliff Richards villa). Isn't this just a desperate attempt at some inter-class tory bashing?

Frankly i don't give a gooseberry fool, he's earnt the money, he can do what he likes with it. As someone said earlier, anyone with half a brain would realise he's loaded and many of the public appearances are publicity stunts. He's just a politician doing his job! He's just a more obvious target with his "old-boy etonian" label.

We're not voting for him based on where he goes on holiday. We're voting based on the changes he'd make to the government and the nation. What he gets up to in his own time is his business.

The holiday is what you would exspect of a family of their wealth. There's nothing intrinsically wrong with that. TBH I'm less annoyed at Cameron and more annoyed at those to whom this would come as some great shock. Get a brain.

In order to promote his "down wit da kids" status once again, David Cameron spent a few nights raving away in BCM. Sources say he couldn't handle the foam party but "the music was pretty good, blah."

It's not a shock, it's just disappointing to see his brazen image manipulation. And the fact that it's probably going to work. Or maybe I'm just not cynical enough yet, so this is more irritating to some than the older members of the forum.

The fact he's trying to convince everyone he's something he isn't is rather grating though, I agree.

He can holiday where he likes. The other down to earth british holiday was a publicity stunt. he does have a penchant for making himself look a bit of a tit when he does things like that though.
