How? TLOU2 doesn't have a release date yet.

It feels like there no hype for this game at all, shame the game looks fun.

Bad time to be hyping this game with all the great games recently. April should be a good time for it. Thread title should probably be updated.

Agreed.

I’m still keen about this game and I’m hoping it’ll be a decent game.

Apart from Sekiro this is my most wanted game of the year. It looks brilliant, love the horde gameplay I've seen so far.

I've preordered it, and I can't wait.

I doubt it will kick off RE2 off as my GOTY though.

First 5 hours - IGN impressions. Still refusing to watch any vids myself, but this little write up sounds promising.

The recent previews are much more positive, they seem to have turned things around from a few months ago.

I managed to order this ages ago on Amazon at a rather reasonable £41.
I'm hopeful it'll be money well spent :D .

The buzz seems pretty low for this considering it's launching on Friday. I gotta say that I wasn't taken by it at the first reveal but, as time has gone on, I'm finding myself more attracted. An open-world, single-player experience with exploring and crafting... and - seemingly - no stuff like season passes and loot boxes.

I'm gettin' interested!

EDIT: For folk picking up the game, if you're getting a version that contains the art book (paper or digital) then don't look at it!

I'm working Bank Holiday Monday and will get extra pay so that will come in handy for this.

Already preordered the Digital Deluxe version off the PS Store so I'm looking forward to another quality single player game on PS4. I'll keep clear of the Art Book till I've finished.

I watched a few vids about the game this evening and this one succinctly covers a lot of info.

Pre ordered digital deluxe edition and can't wait for it.

Love zombies, open world, single player games with upgrades and the horde killing using traps looks unique and will never get old.

Seen so many TV adverts for this over the past week, particularly on-demand. Sony appear to be plugging it almost as hard as Spider Man.

I have mixed feelings about this one. From what I've seen on YT of the gameplay it looks... okay. Nothing remarkable, tbh. I think Sony are desperately trying to hype this one up - perhaps to be something it just isn't. Even the idea of the zombie (I refuse to call them 'Freakers') swarm has just been superseded by the new World War Z game (which does a pretty impressive job). Not sure what this game's USP is now. Nice scenery? Motorbikes?

Definitely one to hold back on until after the launch hype has died down a bit and more reasonable, informed takes on the game start emerging. With any luck it will be fine and I'll have another zombie apocalypse game to get into.

I wasn't overly taken by it when it was announced but, having watched a number of vids and read a few previews over the past couple of months, I'm way more interested now. The gameworld is potentially huge and I love the idea of the open, "travel anywhere" approach. The hordes look to be very impressive albeit - SPOILER - I've heard that you don't really see the the large ones until later in the game.

I'm not anticipating "10/10" or anything like that but I'm keen on what I've seen so far (which isn't much, and I kinda like that!) and the appeal is, for me, building up.
