Any tips? I try to lead them to the big gas containers so I can shoot and blow them up but I can’t seem to get the hordes anything even halfway down.

I try to remember.

Use the Naplam Molotov and a gun called Chicago Chopper. Make sure they are close together to the Naplam Molotov so they will burn quickly.

I think it’s too late for me to get that gun from the camp, I’ll focus on trying to keep the horde together and throw the Molotov at them. Annoying that you only get 2 of the cocktails, the remote bombs also seem like they hardly do anything

Never too late.

Go back and get it. Simple as. :capnscotty:

 I’m not sure I can go back to the camp mid mission, I’ll give it a try tomorrow though and see if I can!

Think I might be close to the end on this now, had a couple more clear the horde main story missions (current one I am on is at the Saw Mill)

Unpopular opinion - the hordes were my least appealing part of the game. Once the credits rolled that was that, I couldn’t face doing any more.

Yep. I actually liked how it ended though, so…

I loved the cliffhanger the true ending set up.
Gutted that we'll almost definitely never see a follow up.

Yeah I must admit I’ve not overly enjoyed the horde missions so far, maybe had they been spaced out through the story better but the fact you have at least 3 right at the end of the game is a bit much for me. It just ends up with me trying to split the horde into groups and picking them off one at a time.

And done! Overall I really enjoyed that, I just watched the secret ending on YouTube and it’s a shame they won’t get to make a sequel to carry that storyline on.

I don't think you needed to kill all hordes to get the secret ending. Just the NERO missions.

I thought the secret ending was locked behind 100% completion so would include the Hordes.

Hmm Google seems mixed. Some places think you need 100% and all IPC tech but I definitely didn't have all IPC tech when I got the ending.

Some places just think you need to drive around in the gameworld for an unknown period of time until it appears.

You absolutely do not, no. Just bumble about for a couple more hours and everyone's wrap up stuff / epilogue things will play out in a pretty dynamic fashion. Then the secret ending will play.

I barely did any of the hordes as I did not enjoy them much either (though I did not think they were badly done, just badly spaced out like mentioned above).

It's such a shame Sony decided to kill this and DriveClub.

Both games could have been really great showcase games for the PS5 and PSVR2.
What's even more frustrating is that Sony don't even seem interested in selling the franchises so that someone else can continue them.

Agreed.

I thought they could have a lot of ideas for Days Gone 2 and where it could go for the storyline.

DriveClub - definitely one of the best fun multiplayer I've ever experienced.
