Earlier, I was riding on my way to Tucker’s Camp and I spotted a NERO station so I thought I might as well to clear it out.

I sneaked and killed them without them seeing me. The job was done so I started to search the speakers that I can destroyed. I was happy how many speakers I damaged then put the fuel in the generator. Switched it on, and all of a sudden a bunch of dozen of freakers ran into the area! I thought I did destroy all speakers but in the end I missed out one speaker which was well camouflage by the surroundings. :fp:

It made my job more tense and a bit panic situation, but I managed to kill them strawberry floaters.

Finished. 8-)

Really enjoyed that. As I've always said Days Gone doesn't re-invent the wheel but what it does do it does very well and unlike a lot of open world titles it doesn't clutter the map with tonnes of icons and events outside of those activated by the player; Days Gone simply allows you to explore and discover the environment while seamlessly merging the story and side quests.

Days Gone isn't without it's flaws and the first half of the game is better than the second, however it ends well enough. Combat, riding your bike and character progression are all excellent, oh and it has some great tunes throughout.

The hordes (40 of them in total) are a lot of fun to take on and after defeating 15 hordes of various sizes myself (while playing through the story) I still get a buzz of satisfaction taking one down. Combined with remaining side quests there's plenty to return to.

Definitely one of my favourite games to come out of this generation.

Well played, Gem! It seemed that the game grabbed you and it's cool that you've enjoyed battling the hordes. As you highlight, the "explore and discover" style era is so well done. My playthrough has been interrupted by Dark Souls but I will return to this afterwards.

Had to uninstall this as it's caused two hard crashes on my PS4 pro. Great game but utterly shocking that Sony allows Games to ship in this state.

Wish my image sig would work

That's pretty poor. Had the game freeze for a few seconds then continue moments later a couple of times but no hard crashes thankfully.

Yeah I've had a couple of stutters and slow loads but the crashes are thankfully rare. Had a few floating NPCs too and that's after the latest patch. Hopefully it'll all be patched out in time.

I was riding along, and a berserker came out of nowhere. And a bear. And a zombie bear And three other berserkers.

What a strawberry floating battle that was. I felt like a bad ass survivor.

My wife was in stitches when as I was carefully taking down a horde a bastard bear came out of nowhere and attacked me. It threw me around like a rag doll alerting the horde. I barely made it out of their alive.

It's the not scripted moments like that that made the game so good. Once I turned round a bend and a screamer screamed me off the bike. The screamers is the worst part of riding along, often you don't see it until the last minute.

In an obvious scripted moment, I stumbled into a survivor held by the rippers. One of the rippers saw me and proceed to shove the poor bastard down a hole, presumed where there is a bunch of swarmers.

I attempted to mow down a swarmer with my bike.

Expect that it isn't a swarmer.

It's a berserker. And he wasn't the one who went down. :slol:

I'm enjoying this too. It reminds me of far cry 2 where the random moments are the best bits.

I’ve played this a lot today and it’s really great. :D

I haven’t encountered the first horde and I’m not equipped enough yet to battle it.
