Of course, it's still a long way to go until the final product, but I like what I've seen so far.

Have to say I wasn't really interested in this when it was first shown, especially with it coming from Sony Bend, but it's looking really polished now.

Think I've seen enough for the time being, will pick this up if it reviews well :)

No, not going to watch that video. Trying to avoid as much of Days Gone as I can so I can go in blind on release.

I don't understand this new trend of people watching the first parts of games as surely that just ruins the first segment of the game?

I don't understand it either. I don't watch any playthroughs though, promotiomal or otherwise, I prefer to experience a game first hand.

This is the sort of game that I think will show the benefits of the PS4 Pro.

I'm not convinced by that run-around-in-circles gameplay, but it comes across as being the players as much as the game. I hope it allows for more planned out strategies and more "realistic" scenarios.

I want to surround that horde with booby traps of every kind.

Hopefully the traps element makes a difference because taking on a horde Dead Rising style has gotten *old*. (I'm basing that on the fact I quickly got bored of Dead Rising 4's zombie hordes.)

Hopefully the final game will be more about carefully planning an laying booby traps like we've seen in previous videos.

For a game where being chased by zombies seems to be a recurring theme, I hope these a mechanic where you can shoot behind while running towards the camera similar to Uncharted.

I think that's a big problem with over the shoulder shooters where pressing down will make your character run backwards.

Definitely hoping for both these things

The submarine in the first uncharted was the best part of the game for how much it took me by surprise, and up till then I didn't even know you could blindfire backwards while running towards the screen. For a whole game based around a similar setup, I'd hope you could do it!

Looks more like a reskinned Shadow of Mordor.

That horde mode looked boring as hell at this stage. I want environment traps, take the digger on the hill, you could have a horde running behind, release the hand break that crashes down and blocks the horde. Run and block the other end, then a zombie molotov cocktail. Running around in circles waiting to bump into gas canisters is not fun.

They showed a video a while back of a truck with a pile of logs on it, he cut the rope and the logs all rolled off sending the zombies scattering.

I want to be able to deploy smoke bombs to mask my presence from the horde, letting me throw bombs with impunity for a short while.
