You know Muhammad Ali was a real person and Superman is fictional....right?

Yeah, bad example, i'll rephrase that.

It would be like casting a chinese guy as Black Panther.

Black Panther has a clue in the name and his whole backstory is that he’s a prince of an African kingdom.

Superman is an alien that grew up in America.

Completely different.

Yeah I can't tell if that's a joke or not - there's literally no reason why Superman can't be black.

Was disappointed to see a Facebook friend comment on a Michael B Jordan rumour article with "Why don't we cast Michael Cera as Shaft then" :fp:

Still a false equivalence, Supes' backstory has nothing to do with ethnicity like Black Panther's does

Jordan as Superman would be amazing. Just imagine the strawberry floating outrage!

Well I didn’t expect the way that went

But yeah Cavill was good just stuck with terrible scripts and direction (like a lot of DC stars)

Val-Zod is black and became the Superman of Earth 2 after Clark died. If I wasn't on my phone I'd post a picture of his great costume.

What blinds? I stopped reading CDAN when it became infiltrated by pro- Trump mentals.

Michael B Jordan seems a bit too...smooth to play Superman. Hard to describe but he has a bit too much swagger and street cred to be playing this paragon of virtue that will always do The Right Thing. Maybe what I mean is he's a bit too human and relatable? I dunno.

Superman is a weirdo alien that has a very strict moral compass which often conflicts with the more pragmatic Earthlings he interacts with. I'd rather they pick an actor that can nail the humble yet morally righteous persona. If they're going down the black actor route then someone like Djimon Hounsou would be ideal in my opinion. He's got the range to play Supes. Probably not a big enough name though, not that it stopped Cavill.

- With an age of consent of 14, this foreign born A list mostly movie actor has been more disgusting than usual the past few days while promoting a movie.

- This foreign born probable former superhero knew he would be safe going to this employer. You really have to do some very bad things to get fired. He did bad things. It remains to be seen if people consider those very bad things.

- Certain people over at this studio know what happened in China, but the numbers are few. They are trying to make sure they have a chance at leaving the door open for a return. Yes, despite what he did. Apparently they feel since it was legal there and there are no witnesses who will say anything, that he might be able to come back.

Supes been diddling kids in China.

It's a good move for him and DC, but if the studio interferes it doesn't matter who's doing the writing or directing, it'll just end up another mess.

Makes sense for them to hire the director of the movies they were trying to rip off in the first place.

Yep.

The movie will be called “Guards of the Universe” and will star Dave Baustista as “Crax”, Chris Pratt as “Sun Duke”, Vin Diesel as a giant sentient flower called “Groop” and will feature a talking weasel voiced by Bradley Cooper.

They will claim it is not a rip off because they didn’t give a part to Zoe Saldana.

Wonder Woman 2 delayed from 2019 to 2020, strong rumors they are going to re shoot it to basically be Flash Point and this will hard reboot the DCEU.
