Started it, came across a gooseberry fool bug early in the game and uninstalled it. Might give it another try when the new update gets released.

Yup. I still hate the way combo weapon creation works.

I thought this was better - no need for a workbench and it lets you know if you can make a weapon when you encounter a "part".

No, when you get to the mall there was a survivor standing atop of a column except mine was standing inside of it so couldn't rescue him.

Yeah, DR4 combo weapon feature definitely sounds better than that.

The issue I'm having with how it works in 4 is that weapon space is limited to start with (and continues to be so unless you put points into increasing slots) and so I hate having to give space to weapons on the off chance I run into the part I need to properly utilise it. (And yeah, I know it can still be used as a part of a combo weapon even when its durability is down to 1%.) And so what I am doing is keeping to traditional weapons for the majority of my play (melee is king) and only use combo weapons when I run into them already pre-made in the world, or when parts are laying next to one another, that or I buy them from vendors. The problem with that is that I feel like I'm playing the game wrong :slol:

Studio shut down

Makes sense, Capcom Japan has released some amazing games this generation and the recent Dead Rising games have been a bit of a gooseberry fool stain on the series.

Hopefully, after the mistake of outsourcing the last two games to Canada, they'll get the Japanese studio to take the series back to it's roots.

I never got round to play8ng this but I picked up the PS4 version (Frank’s Big Package) for really cheap and, as it’s time to play things all Christmassy, I thought maybe I should give this a go!

Did you all generally enjoy this? Read about a few bugs, were they fixed?

It's not as good as 3 as it has really reduced the crafting and replaced it with exo suits. But.... It's still very enjoyable fun. A few weapons are broken and make the others seem pointless. I really liked it as it's dynasty warriors with guns and zombies.

Wish my image sig would work

Sounds good, think I’ll make this my next game to play! The Capcom Heroes stuff looks pretty funny also.

What’s the better way to play, the normal version or the Capcom Heroes mode?

Not having a difficulty selection is Dark Souls core DNA, doesn't make it a good thing.

But the point was that you had to manage your time well to try and maximise your activities and save as many people as you could. It linked in not only with the difficulty but with the core gameplay of the original game, and is one of the things that was heavily praised by reviewers back when it was released. Hexx is right, it’s literally the unique selling point of the whole series.

Yeah it was perfectly possible to rescue every survivor on one playthrough after you'd leveled up a bit and got gud.
