Not that I've seen on PS

And digital doesn't unlock until 4pm!

I keep getting tempted, then I see that price again. And it’s bound to be in Game Pass eventually.

Late embargoes are such a bollocks.

Assuming you want a physical copy and don't want to pay an absurd premium you either take a punt and risk it being panned at which point it's to late to cancel your order. Or you hold off and then if it's good you have to wait till the middle of the following week to get your hands on it for a decent price.

I suppose I should just be patient and admittedly waiting for this won't be too difficult but it's just annoying missing out on that first weekend because you don't want to pay £70 for a game.

I only played the original for the first time a couple of years ago, so this doesn't sound like its different enough to warrant a purchase. I think it's had a 60fps frame boost since then as well? Or maybe that was just DS2.

What exactly do you get playing it that weekend that you wouldn't playing it weeks/months/years later for a lot less?

Play the original, it still holds up remarkably well and looks really nice on Series X. It's on EA play (so Game Pass ultimate).

Agreed. Still looks awesome.

I'm getting the impression from reviews that this is still a great game; although generally not that much of an update over the original. With the current price tag, I think I'm gonna set up my PS3 to play the classic version and then pick this up in a sale a few months down the line.

I own the original on pc, I've just never played it :fp:

Knowing there's a superior version out there is enough for me to hang on until it goes on gamepass. I just was under the impression it was day 1 for some reason.

Motive look to have built some excellent accessibility options into the game.

Would it not be less hassle to get EA play for a month and play the original on PS5? Not sure if there is a free trial around.
