PostDear all, I reaally need your help.
by Puffin » Sat Sep 06, 2008 11:11 am

In April, I am taking part in Charity Event called Football Aid.

A number of big clubs get involved and I will be playing for 90 mins on Carrow Road, Norwich against bunch of other unfit people. A DVD will be produced so I can throw some clips up on youtube after the event. You can see my dive in the pen area.

Every penny earned goes chiefly to a charity very close to my heart, Diabetes Research and other similar projects as well as the individual clubs main charity. I've had two very good friends as well as my Father affected by Diabetes and it's a somewhat overlooked disease.

I've never done a Charity event and I thought it's quite time I did so I have started training for it this weekend, Rocky style. (More Homer doing Rocky style)

So if you can spare some cash, it would be incredible. I need as much as possible Anything from £1000 down to £1! It's all welcome. I need a minimum of £450. I've put £100 in myself so, I have £350 left, I need it by the end of Nov.

I will be collecting it by paypal so if you do want to help out, PM me and you'd be my special superstar.

If you do have a couple of spare quid...Please help me out.

Thanks.

Who were you on GR by the way?

I might be prepared to send you a very, very, very small amount of money. At the very least I have bumped this topic.

I'd be more inclined to donate if I had some semblance of knowledge as to who you actually are. Otherwise I could just donate money to any old Joe Bloggs or go directly to a charity of my choosing.

And without wishing to sound narky, do I get an evidence that my money is going to Charity?

He once sent me Madden 07. Just out of kindness.

That's the measure of a man that he is.

I thought it was you from the Norwich thing. I actually thought I posted earlier saying i'll send a few quid your way later, but it obviously didn't go through. But i've no money to send at the moment, so it wont be for a few weeks yet.

Thank you Joer. Again, very kind.

If I take your names and amounts and pop them into a Word doc. I'll send off a mass PM at a later date for collection.

I'll be doing my work, family and friends this week...
