Deathloop | PS5/PC/XS/Gamepass

Gonna be the first of many games delayed I assume, may even be delayed again if the September period is busy.

Guess i will wait and get this on game pass and save £50 odd.

This is the only game I'm really looking forward to at the moment. Can't strawberry floating wait.

Currently replaying both Prey and the Dishonored games to get myself psyched up for it

I completed Dishonored but I found it a bit too grim (both the plot and world), and so I didn't get very far with Dishonored 2 at all. Ditto Prey. This looks far more interesting, both in concept and design. Love the retro futuristic design.

I don't think it's necessarily more "interesting" as such, but appreciate that the style and setting may appeal more in a way that Prey and Dishonored didn't for some!

All of their games are beautiful artistically (I genuinely still think that from a design and aesthetic perspective no game has topped Dishonored 2 since it came out) and this is certainly keeping that tradition going

Gameplay wise it's still going to be interesting to see how it actually pans out. If it's 'just' Dishonored style powers and movement in a Rogue-lite time loop setup with some PvP stuff chucked in I'll still be happy, but I'm hoping there's still more to it that we haven't seen yet.

I wonder if it will be shown at the Xbox E3 briefing....It's kind of an awkward situation but I'm looking forward to it when it drops 2022 into GP.

It's a funny one with the timing of the Bethesda acquisition as well as the fact that it's unclear exactly how the PS5 exclusivity period will effect GP PC.

The voice actors for the leads have been revealed now and Colt is voiced by the guy who does Doom Slayer in Eternal - so that's now a crossover I would be interested to see! :lol:

This is looking very Dishonored and therefore very good. The multiplayer aspect sounds neat too

Really? I couldn't get on with Dishonored or its sequel at all. I accept I seem to be in the minority though.

The Dishonored games are comfortably among the best games made in the last 10 years

I couldn't get into Dishonored at all.

It's a shame you couldn't get into it, they're fantastic games when they click with people but not everyone will have that experience sadly. I replayed the whole series recently and it's still basically like videogame crack for me personally!

Less than a week to go for Deathloop now, really strawberry floating excited for it! :toot:
