Check out the video above to discover what that link is but do be warned; the Dishonored Easter egg I'm referring too appears during the final moments of Colt's adventure. That means it's potentially a pretty big spoiler if you're yet to complete the game. To help you avoid this is if you need to, I've placed that section right at the end of the video so you can enjoy the rest of the eggs in safety before Shifting out of there at the last minute.

Had a Julianna spawn right next to me as I attempted to leave a level. That was a fun skirmish.

Did anyone else get the Old Habits Die Hard achievement straight away? I was so sure that was what the game meant when it said "you already know the code"! I was wrong but a cheevo popped up instead...!

Just an almost perfect stage - killed 3 visionaries in one go, picked up all new slab upgrades, and a couple of really cool new weapons... then accidentally Shifted myself to death over the edge of a cliff and lost everything! :fp:

Hadn't lost to a Julianna invasion in ages but I came up against a pro tonight, killed me three times and I didn't even see her once

I'm at the point now where I know how to kill all the Visionaries in one loop. I still have a few sidequests and things that I haven't solved yet but I'm not sure where to go with most of the ones I have left unfortunately.

I like that there are things you can do in your own order as you discover them, but only just getting into the HZN room in the complex (long after visiting all the others and unlocking the RAK) and it was very obvious from the dialogue I should have done that much earlier in the game - Colt suddenly talking about the text he is seeing as if it's new to him, and then acting like the info about the RAK is new info when it's all old news. It would have been nice for them to write some alternate dialogue I guess.

I'm definitely closing in on the end but I am trying to be pretty exhaustive on the side stuff. The spy storyline was great (ringing the doorbells was genius) but I think a little too eager to just give you a bunch of solutions to other puzzles/secrets in the game in case you'd missed them.

I feel like I'm nowhere near killing everyone in one loop  But then I've barely survived long enough to explore any areas at night time.

Just been invaded four missions in a row and it started to get tiresome. Started feeling like I was playing a 1v1 battle royale instead of being able to explore and discover things. Might turn off the PvP for a couple of loops next time I play.

To be honest, I wish I'd had a couple of full days to devote to the puzzle solving when the game came out. It's a great game to play in short bursts but I think it would've been best to binge it.

What is the spy storyline as I'm not sure if I've missed something there? I've been in the room in Fristad which has a doorbell, but only have one of the three codes to unlock the door and not sure where to go for the others. Any not too spoilery hints you can give me?

I think there must be more Julianna players than invadable Colts because I immediately get invaded every single time I enter an area with a Visionary, so it's probably worth turning off if you're not enjoying that aspect.

If you've unlocked them I'd recommend keeping the extra health and take extra damage trinkets equipped as they really help with invasions, and if you have the toxic gas fourpounder I've found that's brilliant at killing Julianna (presumably none of my invaders ever have Steel Lungs equipped). Invisibility is also really good, especially if you have the upgrade which means you don't lose power when you stand still. Often I'll head to the radio and hang around for a short while invisible and Julianna will inevitably show up.

Juliana is only allowed to invade your game at the start of an area I believe - once you've been in a space for a few minutes you become an invalid target. I think it works quite well in that if an invasion is going to happen you'll know about it quickly, otherwise you know you're safe.

Yeah it does a good job at letting you push various leads and side tasks forward at their own pace and coping with things occurring in different orders - however as you say it's not perfect and a few more acknowledgements of the player being aware of things before they necessarily expected you to would have been nice. The original Deus Ex is surprisingly good at this, in the early phases of the game at least - there are quite a few custom lines and bits of game scripting put in to cope with the player sequence breaking things. It was all quite impressive at the time!

One example I've had since basically the start of the game is that I collected the Strelak Verso unique weapon before I imagine they expect you to (basically still during the tutorial section of the game) and so now I've got the weapon in my inventory but the Arsenal Lead for it is still in the UI telling me to go and get it!

Nah I've been invaded on the way back to the tunnels after killing a visionary. She spawned right next to me to the surprise of us both.

Hmm, I'm sure I've read that they are only supposed to invade early - and that's certainly been my experience, I've been playing for about 30 hours now and have never had an invasion start outside of the first couple of minutes. Similarly every time I invade someone else (I've probably done about 50 invasions by now) it's always just after they enter the zone.

You're definitely in the right starting place!

Progressive hints, none of them too spoilery:

Hint 1: So in that room in Fristad, there is something that mentions a mysterious radio broadcast at a certain time of day
Hint 2: There is a hackable distraction in that room... what is it? You've probably seen plenty of them around!
Hint 3: You'll probably need a notepad irl!
Hint 4: Examine the whiteboard in that room closely - there's a crucial clue on it!
Hint 5: Make sure you've picked up maps of each area...

I've been playing offline and NPC Julianna seems to invade whenever, I think the skew towards early invasions online is from the imbalance of people trying to invade, like sawyerpip says. I played online at the start of the game and beat a couple of Juliana invaders, but then I lost connection, didn't realise it didn't automatically reconnect, and then decided offline was better anyway as I'd rather have a reliable challenge from NPC Juliana, not the randomness of online PVP threatening to make me repeat myself when I'm much more interested in solving puzzles than doing PVP!

I imagine there are a lot of people like me who would rather play through the game offline, especially when solving some of the bigger puzzles or going for trophies (why would you play online when you're going for no alerts visionary kills only for example). And then when I finish it I'll try out invading (which I haven't done yet) thus contributing towards the problem! My girlfriend wasn't able to invade anyone yesterday when she tried, I think there are just too many Julianna's and not enough Colts.

This article from Bethesda states:

Friends can only be invaded during the first few minutes after Colt has entered the district.
Friends can only be invaded by one Julianna during any given district.

Which tallies with what I'm seeing - I can't see that they would have different rules for "Friends" and "Anyone" but you never know I guess. Either way like I say I've never had the "Juliana has Invaded" message appear outside of the first few minutes of a level.

It's worth giving PvP a go, even if you disable it until a point where you are no longer going to be frustrated by the imposition - some of the absolute best moments I have had with the game have come from duking it out with player controlled Juliana's - either in really intense firefights or through some incredible cat and mouse stealth battles!

If you're not fighting real Juliana's are you even looping?

Death is never that much of an inconvenience in this, but I can definitely understand the desire to just get gooseberry fool done without the risk of getting ninja'd by some über Juliana

I also have my fragile pride to consider, I've only died in one loop (ignoring forced tutorial death) and that was due to the Fristad Rock explosion - I didn't realise it just instantly took out the entire map, I thought only the base would explode!

Can't let a real player ruin my streak :datass:

To balance out OrangeRKN's pro gameplay - as soon as the game loaded I instantly ran into the ocean to see if Colt could swim. He could not. :fp:

Haha, it teaches you quite early about the dangers of water!

That said I've accidentally drowned Cole a few times now, trying to get to places that I'm probably not meant to be
