Taking out the terrorist camp alone gave me enough ceramics for all of the roads between the craftsman and the distro centre north of mountain knot - so I can't agree on the material requirements being too high!

Those roads have really low requirements.

It's the requirements between South Knot and the Distribution Centre south of Lake Knot with the ridiculous requirements

Already built them m8 :datass:

:P

(The last two or three past the cosplayer are pretty pointless anyway, it's quicker I think to not drive along them and cut the corner instead)

There are def a lot of roads not worth making. I think the most important right now is connecting both main Mountain Knot centres first. Just relying on ziplines for everything else.

Also damn, a few certain preppers really don't budge when it comes to raising connection rating huh. But I'm not moving on till I get this whole region maxed lol.

Then you’ll need to get deliveries from the area south of the mountain.

Cheers, will probably get this finished this afternoon then.

Is there much of a post game? Or just constructing roads and raising connection levels?

Post-game story chapter then after that you can just go back and finish off side quests.

I'm up to chapter 8 now and I've been taking full advantage of the new traversal constructions. They've been invaluable in this harsh weather.

I really do like the game but I'd find it hard to recommend to people. And I probably won't feel the need to ever play it a second time. It's an odd one but it's interesting. Kohima definitely waffles on a bit though, he really needs someone editing his work.

Just got every facility maxed. Time for the home stretch. I've loved every second of this journey and it's sad I'm almost near the end.

The last Higgs fight caught me off guard. Holy crap Kojima, you really went there lol >,>

Not sure if I'll continue trying to 5 star every outpost at this point. I'm up to Chapter 8 after about 45 hours but some of the deliveries I'm now completing only marginally increase my ratings. It feels like it's going to get to a point where it's just a huge chore that I have to force myself to do to get the 5 stars. So I think I'll push on with the story and forget about them while I'm still interested and invested.

Yeah some of the main Cities/Distribution Centres seem a bit ridiculous. I've made 400-500KG deliveries and the meter has barely moved.

I think distance matters more than the weight.

You're doing premium deliveries right? They are more effective

Yeah I always take Premium ones.

Don't think I'm going to bother trying to 5 star everything though.

Also, strawberry float you Novelists Son. Sign a contract or join the UCA already instead of just wanting free stuff all the time.

On the final chapter now, I think, I feel a bit sad I'm nearing the end.

A huge tip I can give for the more stubborn facilities is collecting lost cargo alongside main deliveries. Especially for the last two centres. So when planning routes try keeping an eye for them on your way there. Only the larger premium deliveries make a difference, like the timed ones. If you can it's worth building the road between North and Mountain Knot or at least half way.

As for Novelist Son, alongside a few other people you meet similar to him it requires that you read their mail to boost trust. That's why It feels like he barely budges. Easy trick is to just use safe houses to speed up time to get mail from them sooner. So once you read it just pick up a delivery to them, complete, then basically repeat. It gets easier once they're connected online.

In classic Kojima fashion, the ending never really is the end lol. Basically on the last post-game chapter. It's surreal to be here after so long. Gotta say tho, even tho Mads won best performance, that moment with Die Hardman legit might be some of the best acting I've seen captured in a game, good god, it hit me more than I expected. Bravo TEJ.

Wrapped the game up a couple of days ago and still recovering from the lead up to the end. Kojima knows how to build it up. Some moments I won't be forgetting for quite some time. A phenomenal experience.

I'm wondering whether to hammer through the story this weekend or continue taking my time doing lots of side deliveries. I'll be able to get a good amount of time into it but probably not enough to finish it.
