Never played the original but having loved the subsequent Soulsborne games I am very interested in this!

I was initially hyped for this but I already have it on PS3 so I can play it there if I want to. Maybe I'd be more interested if they include the world missing from the original game.

EDIT: That said, those screenshots look pretty good.

‘Players can choose between two graphics modes while playing: one focused on fidelity and one focused on frame rate,’ reads the post, which sounds like the game won’t be able to support both at the same time. Considering how much Sony and other developers have hyped up the power of the PlayStation 5, and how much better games will look, this is very disappointing and undermines the idea of the next generation being a major leap in graphical abilities. There’s currently no word on what frame rates will be offered but we can probably assume that it will run at a smooth 60 frames per second if you pick the frame rate mode and 30fps for the fidelity mode.

Performance mode always.

How is it misleading if 30 fps mode is a legit gameplay option?

Can't get the cinematic experience at 60fps.

Fair enough.

Because I'm not yet used to 60-120 fps and can live with 30. I'm not saying I'm against more fps, rather that I can handle a smooth 30.

Some people, for whatever reason, value graphics over performance. It's just how things go.

I'm extremely excited for this, and I hope they keep some of the raw bullshit in the game. If Allant doesn't delevel you on grab, get the strawberry float out with that gooseberry fool.

If 5-2 isn't just a featureless, pitch black abyss of poison, get the strawberry float out with that gooseberry fool.

I suppose its positive Bluepoint can get 60fps even if it has to be an option for some stupid reason. Should mean 30fps will be stable. After all its not like From have a track record for releasing games with frame pacing issues and areas with chronic slowdown even when targeting 30fps.

Oh and I've already redeemed channel points to get Pedz to play this.

Got pretty close to the end in the original but never finished. Bluepoint are godlike and I trust this remake is gonna deliver. Curios if combat will be updated too.
