Armoured Spider down. Took a couple of goes to get the patterns down, but wasn't too bad in the end.

Moving onto 4-1 now and having forgotten to kill myself in the Nexus ended up being invaded.

Had a great fight with the invader and eventually managed to get the upper hand and sent them packing.

This game is strawberry floating awesome.

Someone invaded me in Latria :slol: The guards eventually took care of it.

I was having a great time exploring; found the merchant in the cell, a couple of locked up dudes, lots of loot... and then fell down a hole in one of the prison walkways. It was so funny I wasn't even mad.

Started a new Temple Knight character for a Great Sword of Moonlight build. Bloody hell that weapon is great! Bit annoying to get it early on though.

I only just started exploring Latria and it's pissing me off a lot. I think I've missed something obvious as I'm running in circles around the prison so I'm assuming I've missed a key but I don't know where. Definitely my least favourite area of the game so far.

One big tip I'll give about the first Latria level is that there's a stairway that's very easy to miss.

Thanks for that, I'll keep that in mind next time I play :D

Dark Souls was the first game I played in the Souls series but going back to the original a lot of the ideas were already there. I think the big thing Dark Souls has over Demons is that most of the world is interconnected. Bluepoint have done a fantastic job of making the this game look amazing though.

I still think Bloodborne is my favourite game from From Software but there's still some time for Demons to change my mind.

I did the Monk fight :o I knew that fight was in there but when I put my sign down I did it because I thought it would be a different boss and I wanted to get an idea of what I was letting myself in for. But yeah, what happened instead was amazing  Stuck on Graverobber Ring and hid close to the entrance. I won

Managed to free the sage as well.

Still faffing about in 2nd section though. On last session I kept dying at the first chain tower trying to get loot on a ledge :x

I looked at the hidden trophies last night and realised there's so much stuff I missed. Definitely going to have my second playthrough sooner than anticipated now!

Maneater downed. A good straightforward fight :P Took me ages to realise I'd missed a set of stairs after killing those 4 emaciated types performing the ritual :fp: Killed Yogurt asap.

Solo'd false king on my first attempt this evening 8-) Didn't cheese the fight either, but as above had a few pixels of health remaining after a few brutal hits. Luckily I'd only upgraded my vitality by one level the night before which i think saved me.

Just going to do some pure black world stuff before triggering the ending, then I'll save NG+ for another time.

I have way too much to be getting on with and so I don't think I'll be doing NG+. Not right away, anyway.

That’s a great tip as that’s exactly how I got stuck there when I first played this on PS3.

Also the keys on the hooks at the end of each floor are surprisingly easy to miss when you get yourself all turned around.

3 rings left to get, one of which I can't get as I messed up the quest for the morseluem key, so that will have to wait until NG+ one day. As long as I clear this rings trophy on this play through, I'll be happy.

I didn't even realise the keys were there until I ran past one and either a prompt popped up or I saw one twinkling.

I almost wish I wasn't so OP from the off so I felt more danger from the jailers; I was afraid of them at first, but after taking the first one down that fear quickly left me. Thankfully the prison itself them stepped in and took over as primary nemesis. Latria prison is strawberry floating amazing when the lightning strikes...

Did anyone else feel guilty killing the prisoners? Obviously not the jerks with the poles and daggers, but the ones who just randomly run about the place, also the ones who follow you :fp: I only killed them because the passageways were so narrow and they made it a pain to get by :x

Completed this a couple of days ago, tremendous game. I think this has the easiest bosses of any of the Souls series. The only one that gave me trouble was Maneater and I still beat him on my second attempt and I consider myself about average at these games. Did almost all of them on my first attempt, which was fine by me as my favourite aspect of these games is the moment-to-moment gameplay, exploring new areas.

Valley of Defilement was the best area, especially 5-2. An oppressive, festering shithole of a level with possibly the greatest shortcut in the entire series.

Lost 90k+ souls essentially doing a Ritual Path to Alter of Storms grind. Only after multiple deaths did I realise it'd be more efficient just killing the first reaper and his lurker crew and then running back to Path archstone and repeating :fp: :fp: :fp:

It's a great place to grind. Run to the entrance shoot a few times with your bow and he will drop before anyone gets to you. Run back and start again.

Just returned to this after playing AC Valhalla. Managed to beat flame lurker with the help of a random player and gone up a level. Still need to do a lot on this playthough but it's going much slower in new game plus.

Yes, run straight to the edge and arrow the main guy, everyone drops and you get a guaranteed stone drop from him, plus loads of souls. If you want more, get the black skeleton guy that's hidden nearby. I was getting 20k+ souls per 3 or 4 minute run at first. Great for levelling up a bit.

Got pure white character tendency earlier, but as the end bit has triggered, the monumental won't cough up, so ill have to wait until NG+ to get his item (tendency carries over thankfully)
