Demon's Souls Remake (PS5) - Confirmed for launch

So what class are you all selecting for your first play through?

I normally select Knight in Dark Souls games, and stick to melee weapons. I'm thinking about giving myself a slightly easier time and going with Royalty and working on a magic build.

iirc there's the Great Sword that's literally the Zweihander in all but name.

I'll probably go for a knight as it's my first time. Knight feels like a comfortable class to ease in with these games.

I'm beyond hyped for this right now. Today is a very special day.

I imported Demons Souls from the U.S when it was getting hyped on original release and never got good. Managed about 5 hours worth of progress before giving it to a friend.

Played and completed every follow up Souls game (except Sekiro where I couldn't take the final boss) so Demons Souls is the only one I'm unfamiliar with. It will be like a new experience, and to experience it on day 1 of PS5 is unreal.

Taken 2 days off for it :wub:

I played it after DS1 & DS2 and it was easily my favourite. The variety of levels is fantastic.

I watched Danny O'Dwyer's playthrough of some of this, and even though I've given up in frustration every time I play a Souls game, including this one back when I had it on PS3, it still makes me want to spend a load of money I don't have on a PS5. :lol:

Love this so much. Found a great early weapon and it's so much fun! Even the missus got good at it last night!
