:slol:

Edit - Meatball in Gambit to - even during immune phase.
Not just warlocks It looks like stasis melees/grenades/exotic can all do it. .
No one's quite sure but looks like when the "freeze" breaks and spreads to nearby targets, enemies with big hitboxes confuse it so they self freeze, explode, self freeze, explode etc etc

I've not dared venture into Crucible as yet but yeah, Stasis seems just straight broken in some places. Thankfully it's fun broken in PVE rather than the frustrating broken of PVP

Wonder if they'll have that nonsense fixed in time for the raid on Saturday

Hopefully the raid being completed will trigger some new stuff as the seasonal stuff looks light as hell

I thought that season kickoff was probably the strongest they've ever had. Good lore, decent first mission, and Hunts are finally a seasonal Activity that isn't just another public event.

There's not a huge amount there, but it looks decent fun.

Yeah I’m sure there’s lots of timegated beyond light stuff

It’s the season

Load planet
Sparrow for a minute
Kill equivalent of lost sector boss

that looks light

I mean, technically Arrivals was load planet, grind Gambit but as a public event, select reward...and Arrivals was the best season they've done since Opulence. The Lure mechanic is at least the equivalent of the Umbral engrams, allowing you to choose your loot, so that's nice.

The lore is already on a par with Arrivals for me, even if the loot isn't as good (terribly designed season pass armour, merely 'ok' exotic).

Imma give it some time.

Arrivals had the weekly mission too

Next to Sundial, Vec etc it looks incredibly low effort

Well we don't know that Hunt doesn't have a weekly yet.

And I do disagree with the "low effort" thing. Beyond Light is probably what, the third best expansion in the game's history behind The Taken King and Forsaken? And they made a new season on top of it (which, yes, they charged extra for). And they did this whilst working from home.

I think the non-stop negativity from the GameFAQs Message Boards thread has made me super sensitive bad reactions, but for me Destiny's in a really good place at the moment.

Stasis
Fixed exploits with the Warlock Shadebinder Super.
Stasis breakout damage reduced (110->90hp).
Adjusted the curve that reduces breakout damage using Resilience.
Increased the damage reduction effect Resilience has so that higher tiers of Resilience are more valuable.
Caps out at 90 Resilience.
Penumbral Blast (Stasis Warlock melee) projectile speed reduced by 20%.
Penumbral Blast (Stasis Warlock melee) range reduced (was 28m now 16m).
Winter’s Wrath (Stasis Warlock Super) duration reduced (was 30s now 24s).
Winter’s Wrath light attack (Stasis Warlock Super) cost reduced (was 5% per burst, now 4.5% per burst).
Cold Snap seeker speed reduced by 23%
Against Guardians:
Cold Snap freeze duration lowered (was 4.75s now 1.35s).
Ice Flare Bolts freeze duration lowered (was 4.75s now 1.35s).
Penumbral Blast (Stasis Warlock melee) freeze duration lowered (was 4.75s now 1.35s).
Winter’s Wrath heavy attack (Stasis Warlock Super) no longer affects players who are not encased

Warlocks can't have anything nice.

Shadowkeep is £9.99 on PSN just now is there any content in it that's worth that?

I say no. Didn’t rate it, personally.

Yeah, I'd agree I think. Nightmare Hunts are a great way to power level (sometimes) but apart from that you're not missing much.

Nah - it was the lesser of stuff. It'll give you more things to do on way up, but can't see why you'd do any at endgame.

Campaign is pretty meh. Do you get the Red Spire strike in playlists anyway?

Because I bought the standard edition and then the season pass with silver turns out you don't get the No Time to Explain exotic. That's only if you bought the seasonpass for money

I legit didn't realise it was exclusive exclusive. I assumed you'd just get it sooner than everyone else. I think this is the first time they've done a Collector's/Deluxe exclusive weapon? Maybe? I assumed it'll become available to the masses at some point in the future though.

NB: there's a new Born in Darkness quest after today's reset

Everyone who didn't buy it will get it "at somepoint after season 12"

The Lament Sword shreds. Insane damage.

I'm doing pretty well on the Triumps - except for Brigs from the new Public event. You have to be in a fireteam. That's gonna be a right pain. 10 kills is the first level...and there are 4 levels.

Bet they'll just add it into the normal loot pool.

So downloaded this onto the Series X this weekend and gave it a shot, for new players they've added the whole starting area from Destiny 1  Thought I was going crazy that I'd played this in the original so had to google it.

Least it's a bit more new-player friendly than before.
