I wish they wouldn't religiously tie everything to that reset time. I understand they work to Pacific Time, and I don't expect employees to be working through the night, but it's annoying it's stuff like the end of season event a month or so back, which was basically impossible for most of Asia, Australia and Europe to properly experience unless you had no job or pulled an all-nighter.

Having people in the office for patches is important, I guess, and I don't mind the download being at an awkward time for me, but other stuff should be accommodating to as much of the playerbase as possible.

I don't know why it's fine that three continents effectively were locked out of the end of season event through no fault of their own. Let's face it, the developer wouldn't have dreamt of making it so that Americans missed out, so why is it okay for Europe, for East Asia, for Australia?

I may have rented about this a month ago in here anyway. Not sure.

Upgrade now available. (Series X, at least. I assume the others too.) Not expecting it to be ready to start tonight.

Big old dev update.

- Acknowledges loot pool was too small
- completely changing the way this will work in Season 13
- commits to more new weapons per expansion, adding new staff to match workload rather than crunch
- adding Whisper, Felwinters Lie, Outbreak Perfected to the Kiosk in S13
- Transmog coming season 14, new transmog screenies.
- 2 new (versions of old) strikes in S13
- Vault of Glass mentioned for year 4 but no season given, probably 15 so autumn/winter 2021
- crossplay coming in 2021

Yeah, seeing as it’s a completely new download for both Series X and PS5, I don’t see why they didn’t allow a pre-download well in advance.

Anyone managed to get the next gen patch yet? Impressions?

It's fine. Some if might be imaginary - but smooth and quicker, even then base PS5.
