Because I bought the standard edition and then the season pass with silver turns out you don't get the No Time to Explain exotic. That's only if you bought the seasonpass for money

I legit didn't realise it was exclusive exclusive. I assumed you'd just get it sooner than everyone else. I think this is the first time they've done a Collector's/Deluxe exclusive weapon? Maybe? I assumed it'll become available to the masses at some point in the future though.

I think Coldheart was the same and a preorder bonus for D2. Might even have been a PS4 preorder bonus, as they've had console-exclusive strikes in there before the days of cross-save. Can't imagine that happening now.

The post-campaign and post raid stuff has cemented this as the second best expansion after Forsaken for me. I can't believe people said it was slight in terms of content. Even the loot doesn't bother me, as I've previously said, but then that's never been my thing really.

Europa is a fantastic location, and has a lot of figurative and literal hidden depth. They need to add the weather system to other planets too.

Yeah, they've done platform exclusives (Coldheart and a certain D1 strike) but never version exclusives. It does grate a bit.

And I'm with you. I really do think the whole package is exceptional, especially given the circumstances under which it was created (and not just Covid but also the fact this is Bungie's first major solo produced content after leaving Activision). I'm trying to avoid raid spoilers for the time being but everything I've heard about it has been extremely positive too, can't wait to get stuck into that.

That's a preorder deluxe version bonus and not tied to the season stuff. So, I preordered BL but don't have No Time To Explain as I didn't pony up enough.

On PSN you get it with the expansion & season pass bundle. Looks like if you just got the standard edition you can pay £17 to unlock the exotic and catalyst, plus the exclusive stuff from the deluxe edition.

A little bored of this already. I’d forgotten how many of the post-campaign quests were about jumping through all of these grindy little hoops that Bungie deem fit to hold up for you. Levelling up is taking forever.

Whereas I'm the opposite, and like all the little things going on post-campaign and post-raid.

Let's face it, the campaigns are an expensive one-shot. The amount of time they take to create probably isn't worth it for the finite experience they are. Most players will do them once and then that's it. At most, hardcore players will (have to) do them on their other two characters.

You're never going to get a lengthy campaign.

But what Bungie should do is use these amazing gameworlds they've created. Think of Titan - all that space that went unused except for that one campaign level where you brought out of the complex in a tank. And maybe the Savathun's song strike. At least the latter got replay tonnes of times by players, but a lot of the space on that world was wasted.

I'm fine with smaller quests that keep you playing, using different weapons or having you hunt collectibles, if they use their gameworlds a bit more - if they take us into areas we don't usually tread, or if we get some voiced over exposition (I don't need to read the lore, mind, though I did say I'd try to this season... but I haven't).

A campaign is something people play and finish in the first day or two. I don't mind the drip feed of content approach.

Completely agree. The Taken King did this really really well - same Dreadnought, but a couple of books and crannies you might have missed. Some extra lines of dialogue, but enemies in different configurations, and boom, while new mission that’s completely fooled people.
