I'm so glad that there was never a sequel to the original Deus Ex. I have a lot of respect for Ion Storm not sullying the Deus Ex brand.

A single ammo pool? So somehow a rocket launcher uses the same ammo as a pistol.... right.
So far the areas are tiny. Literally four rooms and a hall, then a loading screen. :slol:

I don't think it'll be replacing either DE or HR anytime soon.

The in-universe explanation for the single ammo pool was that your ammo was formed from nanomachines or something, so the same things could form whatever ammo you needed. It was meant to allow for even more open ended play as you didn't have to rely on finding the ammo you were after, but it didn't really work.

Ah right. That does make some sense I guess. But I can see it being a pain in the arse later on.

Self-destruct was the only sensible ending to Human Revolution, if that is retconned I will be mad

I can't remember a single ending to DE:HR and I've played it 3 times through, an exceptionally rare thing for me to do. You 'sided' with certain people essentially, yeah? I think I went with Sarif the first time.
Montages with a voiceover is all I can remember, what a cop out.

Yeah it was a very bad way of doing multiple endings, as it literally just explained the choices then gave you 4 buttons to press. 3 of them involved being a dick and putting spin on everything to further personal agendas while the 4th just had you say screw this and suicide out in one big strawberry float you to everyone involved, making it the one true ending.
