Dexter New Blood [Nov 7 21 on Showtime]

Anybody watching this tonight? Getting a surprisingly decent reception. 10pm on Sky Atlantic.

We watched it earlier.

It was alright. I'll give it a few more episodes to see how things progress with Harrison.

Half way through episode 2 and we've already guessed every plot point so far :lol:

I mean, surely it's a given that Harrison has killed Hannah and thats going to be the big shocking thing this ends on.

I'm not reading any posts on here, I'm going to wait until every episode is available so I can binge it. I cannot emphasise how much I'm looking forward to this.

I think I'm enjoying this series more than any previous one of Dexter. Maybe it's new location has just freshened everything up.

Could still do without Dead Deb turning up and screaming.

What did people think about the series?

I enjoyed it overall. The change of setting worked for me. I felt like I got to know the new cast fairly well and it bought something new to the story.

With regards to the final...

It reminded me how good this show can be and used to be until it went downhill after S4.

Just finished this after starting it on Sunday night.
Really surprised at how it was much better than I was expecting it to be!

I can see the ending polarising opinion, but I didn't think it was bad, wasn't great either, but it was ok.

I felt it was the right ending though. The original ending was heavily criticised and I would imagine that this series was bought back to resolve that.

I wouldn't go as far to call this a return to form but it was a significant improvement over the last few seasons of the original run.

I thought the ending was great.
