Cannot wait to play this. Tried it ages ago (but it was old even then!) but it looked so bad I couldn't get into it :fp: Ended up really enjoying 3, so I am hyped we'll get more Diablo before IV.

They're over there, by their theremin.

there's cross-progression between PC and consoles, but it doesn't sound like there's crossplay?

It's been kinda an open secret for a while. Latest rumour I read was that Vicarious Visions are doing this, and their track record is excellent.

So how does this differ to Diablo 3? I have that on Switch and I put about 10 hours into but never got back to it

Never having played II I can't really say  But on the face of it, it looks like II will have more classes. II also has a darker, grittier feel than III. Though the remastered graphics haven't done a great job of keeping that look. (That was my first impression from watching the trailer anyway.) Oh and, I also remember people being unhappy with how abilities worked in III compared to II.

I'm not sure why but I always like games with lots of skeletons in and Diablo 2 certainly has a lot of those  .

What to do long-time fans of the game think of the remade graphics?

You'd love Grim Dawn then, there's literally hordes of skeletons to contend with (and Lovecraftian horrors too).

I think it looks great. It should really benefit from being able to be played at a high resolution.
