People only rank 2 ahead of 4 because it's older. I bet half the people saying 2 is better than 4 havent even seen Die Harder for years. A mixture of rose-tinted glasses and hating new stuff just out of principle.

When you watch them all close together (all 4 over 2 days) you can see Die Hard 2 is the actual weak link in the series.

no 2 is ranked before 4 because it is just plain better....

and I sat and watched 2,3 and 4 back to back :P
