I'm in the same boat. I almost went down that road but backed out at the last minute. I just couldn't do it. Failed the check for the "other thing", so am now considering my options. I wonder if there is a third option....

It's bullshit that I have to work all day and not just play this amazingly well written game.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

I'm spending far too much of my spare time* just thinking about it.

There are several ways into the docks by the way.I hopped a wall to sneak in the back this time.I only have two health pips so there was no way I was getting in a fight with Measurehead :dread:

I'm not going to read the spoiler, but thanks for the reassurance. I only have 2 health pips also, took a hit and had to heal up at the shop. I actually have a modifier now because I didn't highlight the flaws in his logic in front of his admirer.

That was the very first area i visited after leaving the Whirling Rags. Plenty to investigate before returning there. I still have not even liberated my neck tie.

I have been chuckling to myself most of the morning thinking about an incident that happened yesterday in the game where I I took an elderly gentlemans petanque and used it for shot put

This is without doubt the funniest and yet most tragic game i have ever played. And i am only about 6 hours in.

I am worried about hitting the problem at the end of day 2 which can result in not being able to progress though. Without any spoilers, can someone confirm that i will be ok so long as though i have 20 Real by 9pm?

I generally seem to have a very good hit rate with passing check marks.

That is apart from the ones I really want to pass which I almost universally fail.

My enjoyment continues to cool somewhat. I just find it a bit meandering and it starts to feel, gameplay wise, like you're just running in circles tapping X on all the interactables until you find the one that progresses the story. I do like the characters and story a lot I just wish I felt a bit more of a connection with it.

I have apparently bottomed out Kim's possible respect for me. I was at the start of day 2.

I am apparently not playing a functioning cop.

Currently wrapping up the second day gotten the body down, jammed it inside a giant bear, spoken to most people seemingly involved, so just need to do a few tasks for people to advance the plot. Left the game last night with trying to assert dominance over the union vigilante group by borrowing Kim's gun and shooting myself in the mouth.

I'm sure it worked, showed 'em good.

So since the 1.05 patch that made it to the PS4 a couple of nights ago, i cannot play the game AT ALL. Every time i get to a load screen it crashes to the blue screen. Have tried numerous old save files, reinstalling the game etc. I am playing on PS4 Pro. Looking online (Twatter), it seems like a common problem, with most people reporting they have a Pro too.

Can anyone confirm if they are having this problem on PS4 Pro since 1.05? Also, can anyone confirm if it is still ok on PS4 Amateur? I have one of those upstairs and might hook it up again if it means i can get on with the game. Its killing me that all the effort i have made in to forming my character is in limbo right now.

Finished this one yesterday... far from 100% completion.

Its a great little gem, and when the story picked up, I ignored any other game as I was really involved in it.

Overall really enjoyed it. might play again in the future and see if choosing a different character would actually have an effect on the ending.

But surely not in the near future, I read so much text that now I just want to shoot a lot of stuff

They should really make a book series out of this.

I believe the world was based on a book written by one of the leads. I'm not sure if it's any good but I'd like to give it a read at some point.

I already want to play it again. I have a feeling I would drop it though as it hasn’t been very long since my first play-through, so I will wait. I also want to play it on something that will reduce the load times.

Its a bit confusing.

I am seeing something about a table top RPG "Sacred and Terrible Fate" and then there are others who mention "Sacred and Terrible Air" and I dont know if they are the same thing, because apparently the english adapation of the first is not out, but the first link on google is for a pdf for the rpg game in english, and it lloks quite legit.

This has just been rated for Switch and Xbox. Im deep into the PS version, but I'd happily play through this again at some point on Xbox
I'm currently playing this fairly moderately. Would love to replay this and choose a completely different approach.

It's absolutely worth it. I've played four times and keep finding new and surprising things.

Knowing this genuinely makes my life a little bit better. This game is so special, its great to know that there is good reason for another playthrough or three.

I will rebuy for Series X, unless I pick up a PS5, in which case i could play my copy there. I wont play on PS4 (Pro) again. It was stable (by the end) and looked fine, but the loading times were pretty bad.

I never actually finished this. Seemed to get stuck in a section where nothing I did progressed the story and as I already knew who the killers were and what my story was I just didn’t see the point in continuing.

It’s a quality game but I didn’t like how often it sent you round in circles just for the sake of it and the story seemingly progressing without any input from you.

I can't recall any moments where I didn't have a clear objective or line of investigation I wanted to follow up on in the game, but it's been awhile since I played it. I can't remember, is there a log of any sort which lists things you wanted to investigate further?

Also, there is more to both your cop's story and the murder that you only find out towards the end of the game.

It really is all about the journey. The people you meet, the interactions, the moments of reflection, the filling in of the background of the world.

I think it might be my favourite game of all time. I must have spent around 70 hours on my play through and I was gutted when it came to an end. That’s very rare for me. I never even got a vision quest though, so that’s something to replay for straight away (I know they are only short).

I will try and hold off for a year or two.

Hampered by performance issues, but is otherwise a masterpiece - 83%.

Think I'll wait for a sale and several patches.
