It's pretty good. Not as much a comedy compared to Futurama, but decent entertainment.
I was disappointed when I realised I watched the last episode/10

Watched the first episode last night and must say it isn't anywhere near as bad as some reviews suggest, It certainly isn't a laugh a minute type of show but it isn't without humour and made me laugh several times.

It isn't up to the standards of early Simpsons or Futurama but I'll give it a chance and watch the rest of it.

I watched the first episode and I didn't particularly like it, I found the humour very obvious and the characters uncompelling. The highlight was the elves happily singing around the hanging tree though, I did laugh at that.

I think it is more world building and soap than sitcom, I wasn't expecting to laugh all the time, so I enjoyed it mostly eating my lunch/breakfast. Comparing to the Simpsons seems pointless nowadays so I'd say it isn't as good as final space or Rick and Morty.

I'm actually quite enjoying this, things seem to improve after the first few episodes.

I'm not too keen on Elfo though, the character just doesn't really add anything to the show. Bean is kind of a strange mix of a teenage girl version of Homer Simpson, Fry and Daenarys Targaryan but it works - I also like how the characters do (mostly) look medieval.

I think the setting is probably the best part, in the same way that Futurama sets it apart from other similar shows.

Netflix has renewed Disenchantment, the adult animated comedy series created by The Simpsons‘ Matt Groening. The streaming network, which bowed the first 10 episodes of Season 1 in August, said the remaining 10 episodes will now premiere in 2019. A second season of 20 episodes has been ordered to roll out in 2020 and 2021.

I thought Netflix renewed it for 5 seasons before the first had even aired? :?

Anyway, I watched the whole thing, and I really like it - the latter half of the season really picked up. I was ridiculously sad that it only had a 10 episode first season.

It's shite. They cancelled Santa Clarita Diet, and yet they carry on this?

strawberry float off Netflix.

Never made it through the first lot of episodes, it was all just so mediocre.

I think the original run of Futurama was the last time Groening was involved in anything worth watching to be honest.
