I've been watching a few vids about the game and... it looks pretty good . It has an Animal Crossing-type of feel with multiple characters and activities that you tackle on a daily basis. Of course, being Disney, there is potential for a huge range of characters, clothing and items to be introduced and I'm keen to find out more!

Right now, because I've been watching the vids and building up hype, I'm thinking about buying a Founder's Edition and playing from 6 September... .

I have often wondered if we should consider doing GRcade led interventions.

If you've got an Xbox, wouldn't it be cheaper to sign up for 3 months of Gamepass?

* Not really. I was an Xbox fan throughout the OG and 360 era; and it was 50/50 as to whether I went with PS5 or Xbox Series this gen. I just happened to find a PS5 in stock first!

They charge people to test a bare bones alpha release, before making the game free for everyone when it's complete?! Isn't that... backwards

Yeah, it's pretty much a beta release; but if you were to spend out on a Founder's Edition, you get in-game currency plus items (clothing and furnishings) that are exclusive to founders.

The game seems to have a lot of content already, though - take a look at some of the previews on YouTube to see more .

A new gameplay vid arrived today; there looks to be plenty of Animal Crossing-type activity with tasks/missions and stuff to do.

If anyone is wondering about what will be included in the Early Access period, the game's official website has comprehensive details. It feels like there'll be plenty to be getting on with!

I've gone for it... pre-ordered on Switch!

Looking forward to checking it out on 6 September :-). I think it'll deliver an on-going adventure that I'll dip into each day; similar to Animal Crossing.

Haha, I've not played any games in the Kingdom Hearts series but I'm aware of it's apparent reputation for very convoluted plots!

Are you thinking about trying out Dreamlight Valley, Orange? Maybe holding off until the free-to-start version arrives next year?
