Nah, Yoshimi. Regrettably my order(s) have stayed cancelled. I was going to get into the game in a big way, but the overall cost was getting a bit scary and I decided to pull out.

The whole experience looks great, though. That Collectors Edition on the PS formats looks terrific.

Is it just disney infinity 2.0 but without the marvel game disc and marvel characters and instead you get stitch and Merida? So will the toy box mode be the same in the combo pack as with the 2.0 released this week?]

Yes, STAR - the Toy Box pack contains the 2.0 software, the base and the Stitch / Merida figures. The Marvel pack releasing on Friday (19 Sep) contains the 2.0 software, the base, three Marvel figures and the Avengers play set.

Additionally, a digital (i.e. buy from your console's online store) version of the 2.0 software will be made available in November. This is handy for Infinity owners who already have the base from the original 1.0 version.

I'm jealous, Pedz - the Collectors Edition looks ace! As for other characters, the Guardians of the Galaxy play set and characters looks like being fun. The Spider-man playset looks neat and I love the separate Venom figure!

I was thinking of grabbing the GotG set, Spider-Man set and Venom Jawa... For the kids :shifty:

I know my eldest wants Phineas and Fern also. Not sure on other characters. May get Donald Duck for another child.

I'm getting the dark edition of the the Skylanders too. Expensive games really, but it's ok, as it's for Christmas.

Pedz, it sounds like you'll be splashing the cash... Infinity and Skylanders - wow! Phineas and Ferb are Infinity 1.0 figures; Donald Duck is an Infinity 2.0 figure. To use the P&F play set you'd need to use the original Infinity 1.0 software. I believe that the 1.0 figures can be used in 2.0, but the play sets can't. Might be best to check the older figures out before getting 'em.

I don't think Phineas and Ferb are a playset. Will definitely check though. We have 1.0 on Wii U, so it can still be used. Would rather grab 2.0 over 1.0 though.

I'm pretty certain there isn't a Phineas & Ferb playset. In fact, is there even a Ferb? It's a pity there isn't a P&F playset, given the TV series level of imagination, it could really be something special.

One of my kids really wants an Agent P which is a bit annoying as I've got the Toy Story playset and a Woody tucked away for his birthday (picked them up when they were dirt cheap). Any word yet on whether Infinity 1.0 will be free on Wii U in the UK?

I'm not sure I assumed there's a Ferb. I only know for certain that there's a Phineas and Agent P. Which would be fine also.

You're right, guys - my lack of Phineas and Ferb knowledge is on show! The Infinity 'Phineas and Ferb' pack contains Phineas and Agent P figures alongside two Toy Set discs; I'd anticipate that, as it's not a Play Set, these would work with the newer 2.0 software.

So who's getting this then? Been playing it for the last few weeks for work and it's pretty cool. Personally the Guardians of the Galaxy Play Set is my favourite. Be nice to hear what people on here think of it!

Getting it tomorrow but its supposed to be for my lad for Xmas. Trying desperately to resist the temptation to give it to him early. He's spoilt enough as it is. However this game does look ace.

It's all arrived at home, but I'm still in work. I've been a bit put off by mixed reviews (many 8's, but a few poor reviews), and by the news the Wii U version is 600p or something stupidly low. Still looking forward to playing through with my kids though.

Got some figures yesterday, and they're great. A few spots of poor painting but very good overall. The GOTG guys are all a bit brown/grey compared to the brightly coloured Disney characters.

I ordered the Collectors edition from Amazon, but it looks like they only sent it out today so I don't expect it will arrive until Monday, and I had today off work as well :fp: next time I'll preorder from Game.

I'm not quite sure why I've been caught up in the hype for this, but I really have.

600p? Is that lower than the 360 version? I was unsure which version to go for but opted for the wii u.

WiiU: 1138×600
Xbox 360 / Playstation 3: 1280×672
Xbox One / Playstation 4: 1920×1080

I still think it'll be worth going for the Wii U version for the gamepad integration. Will play on PC mostly (when that version comes out, first week of October).

Not a huge difference then. But leaves still wondering why some developers just can't get going with the wii u. They really seem to struggle to unlock the wii us graphical power but nintendo produce some gorgeous looking games and in 1080p. It's like nintendo have their own development kit so that their games always look better.

Remember to hang onto your web codes people, they come with every figure and with the play sets. They unlock the digital version of the characters for use in the app/PC version, if that kind of thing appeals to you.

Loads of people didn't know what they did with Infitiy 1 and just threw them away. :fp:

If anyone has PC codes they don't use from the first game, I'd love to have them!
