Don't be a prude. It's a really good film.

Didn't mean to sound prudish, I'm sure it's great. I just felt - purely from the trailers, I must add - that the metaphor seemed a little heavy-handed.

Totally agree that it's a good thing to normalise challenging issues. And what could be more normal than a girl turning into a red panda? I jest, I'm sure it's cool.

Finally got back to watching The Americans, hadn't seen it since S2 originally aired (downloading episodes became almost impossible) and couldn't remember exactly where I left off so started from the last episode I remember watching (S2ep08).

Just started S3 and I've noticed that its getting a lot darker in tone Phillip getting someone killed and having to dispose the body himself, hanging out with a 15 year old girl like some kind of sex offender make for some uncomfortable scenes, have just seen Elizabeth murder someone to get a target promoted.

At least there hasn't been any sudden cuts to LOUD sex scenes so far, had several moments in the first 2 seasons where 'm fairly sure everyone else in the house thought I was watching porn.

Was the Phillip having to dispose of the body scene in a hotel room? Might be one of the most horrifying things I remember watching in a TV show.

I'm half way through Season 4 myself after only starting it once it came on Disney+ and I'm recommending it to everyone I can.

We're halfway through watching dopesick, and it's truly horrifying stuff. Keaton is excellent as usual.

How can a being made of fire wear clothes?

There hasn't been a single Pixar film I've had any interest in watching since Up.
