We've spent quite a few nights watching 24 again.
Love it. It's been long enough that I've forgotten most of the twists and plotline.
So it's like getting brand new Jack Bauer Power Hours

I forgot what a slog series 2 was, the Kim storyline is so strawberry floating boring.

I actually started S1 yesterday as something to just have on in the background. It’s so strawberry floating hokey it feels a million years old. Guess that guess to show how influential it was as absolutely everything in the show has been done 1000 times better by this point. I can’t wait for the ‘I’m a patriot’ bollocks that kicked of that being a crutch for the central villain in every thriller for a decade.

The Ewok films and animated series are being added next month. So that’s... something.

Dudes has any of you watched Gargoyles yet? What a show. Way better than I remembered, so ahead of it’s time, and the mighty Keith David.

It was literally the first thing I watched when I got Disney+ What a show.

Watched Starship Troopers last weekend. The fact that Verhoeven was able to get a budget bigger than Independence Day and insert fascist showreels, SS uniforms and an opening that mimics shots from Triumph of the Will - all the while flying not just over movie exec's heads but critics at the time - is so ballsy. Always a cult classic for me.

Going to cancel my US subscription to sign up for the UK one once the subscription on it ends.

Even when accessing it via the UK and getting the Star tab, I seem to be missing a bunch of the Star content. I can't see X-Files even when searching for example, so I'm pretty convinced that even when travelling abroad they limit content for foreign accounts rather than just giving you everything the local service has.

This is on my list of things to watch, never really get to watch it in order as a child just whatever episode was on. But it seemed to have a very good underlying plot.

Yeah that's what I'm going to do. I only had the US account because I got it before the service launched in the UK and it got some stuff before the UK did near launch.

Have watched the 1st 2 episodes of Gargoyles. Wow that animation is ropier than I remembered but I kind of enjoy spotting all the occasions where they reuse animinations.

I'm also not sure I need a recap and next time on each 20 minute episode. Also 4:3....

However I'm glad I got to see the episodes with the origin story.

You’ll have to pay $30 extra to watch Black Widow. Is that something that was already known/expected? Any idea how long until it becomes part of the regular subscription?

Three months after release and it's viewable on the regular subscription.

Yeah, they did same for Raya and Mulan.

There's a 3 month gap between premium and regular.

Mulan came to the free service 3 months after it was on premier so that's the only days we have to go on at this point
